As a graduate student we are looking to transform ourselves from a student to a professional in our chosen field of study. To do this, we will need to communicate with other professionals. This is the difference between undergraduate and graduate research. When writing graduate level research papers, we will have a narrow focus on our topic and go more in depth. We will be expected to use reliable and credible sources that are relevant to the topic. There is also the expectation that we will cite the references appropriately in our work and list them in the references at the end. This reference citation is important for others to be

When looking for sources we should be sure to use peer reviewed, scholarly sources. Peer reviewed sources have been evaluated for quality, accuracy, and validity by a panel of experts
