The Americas always were a force of revolution since the day of its discovery. It was a place where ideas were nurtured about society, citizens, and government. Ruled by Britain many miles away, the decisions made caused a spark in colonies to finally start their revolution. British officials caused angry colonists. Laws like the Sugar Act, Stamp Act, and Tea Act made colonists stand up and resist. British believed the Parliament makes the decisions, but because of the location, difference rules were hard to inforce. The Revolutionary War, also known as the American War of Independence, is known world wide for its huge impact on the lives of the Americans. Freed from the rule of the English king, the new country would forever be changed by their struggle with the British for their freedom.
The American Revolutionary War divided the country almost in half, with the loyalist and the patriots. Both sides had valid arguements for the reason of staying true to Britian or rebelling. Loyalist wanted to in every way stay with Britian because they felt as if Britian could always provide for them, but patriots wanted to break away from an oppressive government.

The research gotten from the documents supports this claim because as big as it was to to split away from a huge empire, not much changed.
