I walked along the beach. As I was walking I could feel the fresh smell of the beach like it was an air freshener but it also smelled that gave me a tingle in my nose. As I kept walking along the beach I could feel the light breeze coming against me. This fresh air felt warm as I felt like I was sleeping in a comfortable bed. I kept walking in the beach, as I did it felt like an escape to all my problems and also my stress. Beach felt like a solution to all my problems and could be open with anything. As I stroll along, I could feel the soft smooth sand under my feet. The sand was very hot and I walked through it felt like I was walking on a burning grill. The sand was mixed with a different coloured shells. The light from the sun shined on the shell which reflected onto me creating a rainbow. My foot was making marks on the beach as I took every step, these marks remained there until the water came and erased it away. As I kept walking, I looked around and it felt like I was having the best time of life. The bright shining sun went through my cold skin and give me a feeling of excitement. When I kept walking I could see the birds roaming around the sky like a pack of wolves making irritating squeaky noises as it is hungry and trying to find its prey. The sky turned from dark blue sky to a bright shimmery blue sky. Soft, fluffy big clouds were covering the sky, as it started to split away. As it split away, the sun restored and shined on the waves and the cold water started boiling. As these waves dashed, the noises soothed me every time. I began walking towards the beach and I stopped at the edge of the beach where I decided to put my toes in the water. As soon as my toes in the water I got this light shiver in my body, where I felt like it touched my soul. I could feel softness when the water covers my leg. At this time, I could remember the time when I used to play with sand and water. I decide to come close to the beach and I could hear fishes screaming frightened of their preys that is looking to eat them. These birds have been trying to find their lunch as they are hungry for it. I can see the dolphins jumping around with a smile on their life. It feels like they having the best time of their life, as
Walking alone down the path, the wind blowing through the forest making the trees rustle. I looked up to the green leaves moving and the birds flying around Singing. I stop walking for a split second and I look around enjoying nature but then I hear a scream. I spin around multiple times to see where it came from, so I start to jog down the path quickening to a sprint. I turn my head in every direction not knowing what to do, so I start to walk again, breathing heavily and my feet crunching against the rocky path. I put my mind to the wind and the singing birds again. I get more relaxed when I started to feel rain falling against me. The sound of rain dripping, the birds singing and the wind rustling made me stop and think how peaceful life
As I walk onto the white-sanded beach my fears vanish. The ocean breeze sweeps away my fears and carries them out to sea. The heavy stress that I carry on my aching back and my gut wrenching worries fade away into the glistening morning sun, it casts a shadow of the things that I leave behind as I walk toward the ocean. The fully loaded anxiety that fills my body slowly dumps like oil into ice cold water. And all that is left is the overwhelming feeling of complete relaxation.
There I was in a foreign land, lodged in the seats of the cramped van as I pondered thoughts of my future. I was an eighth grader about to enter the arduous experience and intimidating environment of high school. I perceived visions of me struggling through the drudgery of work as well as events where I was given laudations for my witty ideas and prestigious accomplishments. Mixed emotions drowned my brain into a swamp of careless stress, but these were flushed as the abrupt stop of the car brought me out of my daydream. That day was a day I would remember forever, but I was just a child, unknown about what I was going to see.
Men, women, and children went to the beach to drop their worries and forget the pressures of everyday living. The beautiful scenery caused immense relaxation. The overall atmosphere of beach was phenomenal. The sky was clearer than crystal, and the clouds above moved across the sky like driftwood in the night. There was a teenage boy sitting in a lime green beach chair. The boy sat there allowing the fiery sun to kiss his skin. Others hid underneath their colorful umbrella from the sun's rays. The crashing waves swept the overzealous toddlers off of their feet. Everyone could hear their joyous laughter that filled the air as they waited for the next salty wave to come. The little kids were architects as the built their mighty forts and fortresses
Acadia breaths a deep sigh of relief as the frigid clutch winter relents to the lush brilliance of summer. The vivid vision displays a feeling of the wild strength of nature and a peaceful calm without the encroachment of humanity. The cove shelters a collection of smooth pebbles and boulders, which, replace any sand. Towards a creek breaching the treeline sits a old log that bears the scars of driftwood and the grey color of death. It contrasts the deep lush greenery of ferns and evergreen, along with the rich tumult of blues and greens coloring the waves. The organic shape of the wood glides towards it’s weathered root, which look like nothing more that little sticks breaking the smooth appearance. The grain of the wood is lightly pitted,
I can feel the sand between my toes, it is warm, gritty, and small in size as a move my toes around in the sand. The calming sound of the waves colliding with the compacted, wet sand on the beach. The sound of the water rolling back out to sea to be thrown back at the beach again. It was like a dream, the hot sun beaming down upon my dark skin rejuvenating me, my long blonde hair flailing around in the warm breeze. I feel relaxed as I take in my surroundings and my muscles loosen their tension. I lay down on the warm sand, close enough that the white foam from the waves touches the tips of my toes. I can see the clear blue sky without a cloud in sight.
As I was running to the ocean I could see my feet sinking in the sizzling sand with each step I took. I could feel the burning sun beating down on me. As I jumped in the water I felt that sense of cold that made me feel refreshed. I could see everything the water was so clear. I could see all the rainbow fish and the little creatures that live in the sea swarming around
My family and I are riding in the car, getting very impatient. We are about 1 mile away. We drive on a very twisty road to get there. I can see the big, bumpy, waves roll into the big cement wall. I can see the big Island in front of the lake house. As we turn the corner I can see the lake house. My family is standing outside in their pajamas still, waiting to see us. Driving down the street I see tons of trees and cars everywhere. As we
Have you ever been to the beach? I have been to the beach once, and honestly, I wasn’t that impressed. Before I went, I looked up pictures of the beach I was going to, and it had clear, bright blue water, with perfect white sand. Plus, I was expecting to find lots of fine things, like seashells, sand dollars, and sea glass. When I first receiver the beach, I stepped out of the car, having my hopes way too high. The sand was white and fluffy at first, however, as you walked closer to the water, it became hard and the color of mud. The water looked like lake water. Honestly, I felt like I was at the lake, other than I couldn’t see land on the other side looking out on the water. It grew better, too. The only thing close to seashells was little mussels that we would dig into the sand. There wasn’t any sand dollars, or anything fantastic like that.
“Good early morning folks” Steve beamed “Thank you all for meeting us here this early, but as I ensured you earlier this will be the greatest beach day you will ever have! Niall will have the bar set up once we arrive to the destination and again if you need absolutely anything, don't hesitate to ask. Now let's load the bus and get on our way!”
On a Saturday afternoon, Carlos Muñoz, a resident of San Francisco, gazes at views of San Francisco Bay while listening to electronic dance music at a street fair in Hunters Point. His friends who live near the area invited him to the fair, so he brought his baby son, Maxwell.
The place where I feel most comfortable is a place where I am calm. A place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from all my troubles. It is the one place where I could sit forever, and never get tired of just staring into the deepest blue I have ever seen. It is the place where I can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. The one place capable of sending my senses into an overload. This place is the ocean.
Labor day weekend at the beach, families and all of their belongings gather here for the long weekend. It is 1:32pm on Saturday, it is not cloudy but clouds are present. The sun is warm and intensely strong, but there is a pleasant breeze keeping the sun from growing too unbearably hot. The waves are at most 3 feet tall and the ocean water is generally flat. The sand is littered with beach debris such as brown dried seaweed and various forms of trash. No large pieces of trash are apparent though. There are about 4 sets of tire tracks in the sand from lifeguards or beach patrol passing by. There are various forms of shorebirds circling above the ocean. The smell of salt water and sunscreen fill the air.
“I am sitting on the shore of my soul” Blue says to himself. The waves break to the rhythm of his heart and send water flowing up the beach front to deliver a chilly “Hello”. He grips his hands to embrace the cold of the water, but still sits in his lonely spot in the sand. Neither he nor anybody within a thousand miles knows how he arrived, but there he was. The sand had dried onto his legs leaving him and his pants in quite a tattered state however he didn’t care, he was listening. He was listening for the calls of creatures of the depths. Eventually the sounds would surface and seemingly cry out, begging to be heard. “I hear the call of you in the water, and for once time is still and I think I prefer it this way” Blue says to himself.
On a chilly day in late June, my relatives (+) were excited to take me to the beach since I was visiting for a week. Once we finally parked and unloaded the car we started walking towards (>) the beach to find a spot when all the sudden my cousin Cc (Ω) screams she lost her phone (L). My uncle Carlos (}) yelled back we would look for it when we were leaving and told her she needed a break from it anyway. Once we put our bags (@) and towels ([0]) down we got out our books (ш) but reading was the last thing on my mind. I sat (2) down feeling grains (ʺ) of sand sticking to my skin, but I didn’t care because the sand felt so soft. For a while I just lay there running (5) my hands through the sand until my aunt Sky ({) asked if I wanted to walk by the beach. The first couple of minutes were me picking up rocks (O) and sea shells (() and my aunt ({) telling me I had a good eye (%) each time. I listened to the waves (~) as we walked in silence (/) until she said that she was happy ()) that I came down to visit her since it had been a couple of years since I saw them and I said thank you for inviting me. We walked until we reached a tunnel (π) and decided to turn around. When we reached the area where we put our things I grabbed a pair of binoculars (=).
