My inspiration… A hero is not a person with strength or a person how fight monsters. A hero is a person that inspires you to be the best you can be, a person how tells you that there is nothing in the world that you can’t do, a person how will speak to you in a different way. My hero doesn’t need strength or able to fight monster, but their able to change your life in a different way. My heroes inspire me to be the person I can be today and other every day. The people in my store inspire me to do thing I never want to do but they make me do it by changing my mind. The reason I picked these people because they don’t just inspire me they inspire other people to. Paul walker is an actor who started acting at a young age. In 2001 Paul Walker had a role of a lifetime and he had started acting in a movie called The Fast and the Furious. The director of the movie knew that Walker was the right person for that role. " The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams."- Oprah Winfrey. This quote meant a lot to a 13 year old youngster named Jared, who lived in the most impoverished town within Cambodia. To be quite specific, Jared resided in an old, rusty village, during the year of 2001, that he'd been living in since birth. His greatest aspiration in life was to become a geneticist. However, he did have a few roadblocks, such as poverty, and zero education. Whenever unoccupied, he strived to pay his Grandma Seda a visit at her senior citizen home, which was funded through the Cambodian government. Speaking of her, Grandma Seda was 96 year old lady and happened to be the grandmother of Jared. She was located at a senior citizen home 20 miles away from Jared's home. Six months ago she was diagnosed with leukemia and slow organ failure. Since her diagnosing, her health has been deteriorating rapidly.

Hunger Games, Star Wars, and A Wrinkle In Time have many similarities, and differences when they go through the Hero’s Journey. The Hero’s Journey is what the main character goes through in a book or movie. For example, Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Ender's Game, and much more.
Looking at the finished product I turned in for Essay 1, I don’t think I deserved a 100%. As I read my essay I found nothing but mistakes and points left out. I then went back and read the first draft of that essay and man is there is difference. As I was reading my original essay I found out that I was inserting facts into sentences. That’s not bad but no the goal. The goal is to create a story about your hero’s journey and relate it to you. Mine was not that. Looking back on workshops and feedback I saw how much my paper had changed and how I raised my bar. I took sentences I had written and moved, created, and formed an essay that was different and better then the first draft; by creating a story. Now using all the knowledge, I have learned throughout the semester, I can use it revise my essay one
The Hunger Games, Star Wars, and A Wrinkle in Time all relate to the Hero’s Journey in different ways, but there are also similarities in the approach of Hero’s Journey. The refusal in Hunger Games and Star Wars are alike in the fact that Katniss and Luke’s choice of refusal is for the best of their family. Meg, however, has no choice and regrets going until she realizes that she will get her dad back. Crossing the threshold is different because Katniss has time to soak up the information and Luke just has to leave right away. During the point of the Test/ Allies/ Enemies, the stories are different by the intensity of the events; but they are also alike. The Hero’s Journey throughout the Hunger Games, Star Wars, and A Wrinkle in Time all have many differences and similarities in the approach of the Hero’s Journey.
take to the hospital (or at least that's what my brothers tell me they are), and I want to watch out my window! Oh! And dad just came home from work in London! It's a little early for him to be home, so I'm going to go and ask him how his day was. *Walks to the dining area to ask how his day went* He says he felt really hot during his day and grew tired, and it turns out, he has a slight fever. I got to go and tend to him for a little while, see you
The hero’s journey can be found in ancient stories from thousands of years ago as well as present-day stories that may hit the big screen. The hero experiences a chain of events that gives he or she, typically a male, a title of “the hero”. The hero's journey begins with either an inner longing to go on a quest, or an exterior call that requires the hero’s help outside of the ordinary world. Heroes may, at first, refuse the call, or may respond to the call immediately. However, there is usually some resistance to the call because of the potential danger he or she could face from the unknown world. In most cases, a guide or a supernatural aid will direct the hero on the journey. In the hero's journey, one may encounter a threshold
-According to the recording this has been going on for some time now – Coulson tells Thor as soon as the recording has ended.
I come from a small city where most of the people don’t have big dreams or desires. Where everybody settles down where they are at and don’t even try to strike for the best. Where nobody has hope and think it’s a waste of time if you try to reach for your goals/dreams. But in that small city for me, everybody’s mentality is the same except my uncle, who died June, 2004. His name is Javier and before he died he made a huge impact in me that determined the person who I want to become in life.
Screams filled the air. Only then did Jessie Grant realize they were his. He had been having this dream for some time, his dad’s and mom’s death. Before they boarded a cruiser when he was seventeen, his parents were his best friends, now he had nothing.

“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself” (Campbell 1). When we think of heroes most of us think of movie stars or professional athletes, but it’s not always about your popularity or talent it can also be about how you help society. What I think make a great hero is someone who is able to overcome his or her obstacles in life, is highly motivated, and has plenty of bravery.
What is the true definition of a hero? Well it’s definitely not always as great as stopping a bomb, or stopping a psychotic villain, it can simply be finishing chores.. I myself can be described as a hero, because I moved, overcame my shyness, and now got many great friends and I don’t live in a sketchy area anymore. See, the story doesn’t necessarily need to be as great as Batman stopping the Joker, it simply has to be defeating a conflict.
Once, in the ninth grade, I came home in the evening and couldn’t find my mother inside.
