My list starts with finishing the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program at Carrington College. I completed this course in April 2012 and moved a step ahead in my professional aspirations. Earlier I used to plan and dream for my life solely, but in September 2016 I got married to the man of my dreams. Now I got a company to pursue my dream professional and personal life. In such a short age, I am the proud owner of two homes. I made a solid move by buying these materialistic assets as constant cash is flowing from one house as rent. I also successfully passed NCCPT certification to become a personal trainer and got my certification in February
A good esthetician should ideally be a people person, they must be comfortable working one-on-one and up close and personal with their clients, one of the most important things is
Have you ever had a job that you wanted so much and dreamed of it.The career that I would like to be is a barber. That career is about cutting hair or styling hair.It is also about styling beards or cutting them.Becoming a barber requires solid education/training and unique traits.
What is an esthetician? An esthetician is a professional who specializes in skin and skin care. Estheticians, sometimes spelled aestheticians, are trained in cosmetic treatments of the skin. I chose this career because you have the opportunity for self employment eventually, the job market is growing, they can make almost twenty dollars an hour, but most importantly you help others feel good about themselves. Estheticians’ hours vary between part or full time, with very flexible hours. Many estheticians only work nights, weekends, or whenever there client is available. If I were to work at a spa, I would most likely be working throughout the day.
After graduating high school, I went on to attend Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL, where I pursued a degree in pre-pharmacy while doing track and field. After being there and becoming homesick after 6 months, I decided to go back home (Atlanta, GA). I thought I was ready for the college life, but I just was not. So I attended a technical college to pursue a lesser dream and become a pharmacy technician. While only being a technician for about 3 years I was able to purchase my own home at the age of 21! Purchasing my own home was a great accomplishment for me. I later got engaged and married that same year, 2008, to the love of my life at that time. In the year of 2009 I had a handsome baby boy whom I named Cardoza. My marriage began to get rocky and my career began to come to a stand still and boring. My husband at the time and I separated and my career led me to Florida. When I first came to Florida I was able to transfer my job as working as a retail pharmacy technician. After coming into difficulties with keeping my insurance and a consistent work schedule to maintain 40 hours a week, I started searching for another job.
In life, choosing is never easy. Choosing what to wear, eat, where to go, and how to live. Choosing what you want to do for the rest of your life, is as easy as walking to the moon and back. There is no brochure that gives you a sure set of bullet points as to what you would like to do, instead, we are meant to simply discover what we would enjoy doing most. There are over a million different careers, yet I’ve chosen a profession in Dental Hygiene. Believe it or not, my first words were not in fact, “I want to become a dental hygienist”.
There are many jobs around the world to choose from. The three jobs that I choose were a Border Patrol Agent, Dental Hygienist, and an American Navy Nurse. The jobs that I picked either one or two have something in common with each other. For example the American Navy Nurse and a Border Patrol Agent share something in common and so does the Dental Hygiene with the Navy Nurse. All these jobs inter me and it’s hard to choose for only one.
I know that going to Oregon Institute of Technology will open many opportunities for me and will lead me to achieving my goals. It’s not only the best choice for me educationally wise but it's a place that I can see myself calling a home. I have confidence that this school has what I need to help me become a successful dental hygienist. The Oregon Institute of Technology Dental Hygiene program is one of the best in the state and I know it'll make me into a great dental hygienist one day. Not only that but the campus is beautiful and I can see myself being happy there. I know I will meet great new people and it'll give me the best college experience I can get. I'll admit that at first Oregon institute of Technology was not a school I had really
First off, I want to start off by saying how thankful I am to have the opportunity to win a dining scholarship. I believe I should be awarded this dining scholarship because I am a single unemployed mother, who would be truly grateful for the extra financial assistance. This would definitely assist with maximizing my success at UCF and not to mention, it will minimize my financial burden.
Over the past two years since I started working as a dental assistant at Kidwell and Albus Dentistry, watching and learning from the doctors, hygienists and assistants as well as helping them. I have realized that there is a lot of joy, and satisfaction when I help the patients improve their dental hygiene and provide the best service possible along with my coworkers. I have gained a lot of experience about what the job entails, the benefits, drawbacks, and ultimately concluded that dental hygienist is the career path that I want to pursuit at this moment in my life, mainly because of three reasons which are professional fulfillment, financial stability, and time flexibility.
I will do this by a series of multiple steps, graduating high school of course being my first step. After high school I will attend the University of Houston-Victoria where I will get my pre-med classes done with and become a nurse ( preferably a licensed vocational nurse ). within those four years I will learn my basics for he first two years then practice for my LVN position in the next two years. After I accomplish this I will then work as a LVN to become successful in the beginning years of my medical career. I would like to be able to get myself a nice house of my own. Once I feel like my life is stable which includes my personal life and career life then I will get in school again and register myself for another two years to achieve my masters degree in physicians assistant studies. That will mean I could finally have my dream job as a physicians assistant
I am at an exciting point in my life and career. Being in my capstone class for the Health Care Administration program and earning my Bachelor’s degree through the University of Phoenix is an achievement that I would not have given myself credit for just two years ago. I was given the biggest vote of confidence by my previous employer to go back to school and earn a degree that will get me past the road block I was stuck in as a surgery scheduler.
From being elected as Student Council President in 8th grade to Secretary of the National Honor Society. My first year of high school was frightening to me, until I found I had a second passion which was dance. I auditioned for the varsity high school dance team and made the cut. I continued to divide my time between being committed to community service, school and sports. My devotion towards dance earned me a spot all four years and my last two years as captain of the dance team. Not to mention despite the language barrier and struggles I managed to stay on track with grades and earned a spot in high honor roll and NHS. This year I was elected as the secretary for the National Honor
The first thing many people notice in individuals varies, but the first thing I notice is always their smile. This more than likely stems from my obsession with my own smile since as early on as I can remember. This obsession has become almost a hobby. I like to find out what is best for my teeth and others by trying many different tooth brushes, tooth pastes, mouth washes and so on to see which are best for whitening, sensitivity and cleaning in general. My love for healthy teeth has led me to desire to be a part of the dental hygiene field as my career. I believe that the best jobs are always the ones you love doing and I would love to be able to give others the beautiful smile they deserve, increasing their confidence and happiness
There have been several goals that I have alsways wanted to pursue in life. Some of these goals I have already achieved; for example, such as the medical field, I have established my certifications in Medical Assistants and Nursing Assistants. I've redirected my career in the Industrial Industry, by doing this I have accomplished in being a Certified Welder and Torch Burner, with my previous education and experience this has allowed me to start a foundation for my family. I bought a car and even purchased a home, while taking care of my financial needs.
Humans are social beings; living, growing, and surrounded by others. No matter how closed off or reserved a person may be they will, at some point, need help. A smile can change someone's whole day, it is really that easy. All I have ever wanted to do was help people when they might not be able to help themselves. Not only does it make me feel good, like I am leaving a positive mark on them, but I know even if they don’t thank me they appreciate it. I want to make a difference in those surrounding me even if it is only an ear to listen and understand what they are going through. I want to be the very best me there is, as well as, assisting people in gaining back mobility through prosthetics. In the future I want to become a prosthetist giving
