NOUN:1. Slang. A person who is habitually drunk: drunk, drunkard, inebriate, sot, tippler. Slang : boozehound, boozer, lush2, rummy1, soak, souse, stiff. See DRUGS. 2. One who depends on another for support without reciprocating: bloodsucker, hanger-on, leech, parasite. Slang : freeloader. See DEPENDENCE.
VERB:Informal. To take advantage of the generosity of others: leech. Slang : freeload. See DEPENDENCE.
