(nk-kl´ dl-läbbä´t, –bä´t) (KEY) , 1512?–1571, Italian mannerist painter. From c.1552 he assisted Primaticcio in the decorations at Fontainebleau. He was one of the first in France to paint landscapes. Among them is the Landscape with Orpheus and Eurydice (c.1555) in the National Gallery, London.
