(d nä´y ts) (KEY) , river, 156 mi (250 km) long, rising in the Carpathians, S Poland, and flowing NE past Nowy S cz into the Vistula River. There are hydroelectric stations at Roznów (the largest in Poland), Czchów, and Czorsztyn. In 1975, Poland and Czechoslovakia adjusted their border along Dunajec to accommodate a dam near Czorsztyn. |
