Assignment 2: Informative Report Tammy Luffman ENG 116 Professor G. May 17, 2022 1
Introduction Employees can help get the business shared on social media! Making a policy to allow employees online will be a benefit to the company. Employees who are on social media have better morale and can share what project or product they are currently working on. Although a possible data leak or breech can happen, this can be avoided with a company policy in place. Benefit As the employees bringing more attention to the company, this will bring in clients who are looking for great products and expertise. With the employees sharing their work on social media, their post gets more shares and views then the company would get by themselves (Bizzi, 1). Therefore, if the employees are allowed to use their social media while at work, under guidelines, this will not only help the company with their advertisement but will also keep the morale of its employees up. Risk Hackers can be avoided if the proper protocols are put into use. With so many hackers out there trying to gain company information, it is especially important to follow a set of guidelines to prevent intrusions. When not using their own personal devices for social media, they open the doors for a possible hacker to gain entrance (Raymond A. Mason School of Business, 2). If the company network is used, a company policy should be in place. Therefore, a policy concerning internet use on the company network will safeguard any sensitive information. Conclusion Using the employees social skills on the media will not only help the company, but will boost their morale. At the same time, an internet policy will keep the company well protected. Its important to keep the employees safe while they are on social media, spreading the word of the current projects and achievements. When the employees are happy, the company makes great strides and progress. 2
