Self & Peer Evaluation From
Directions
There are two sections to this form. The first section asks you to evaluate the other members of your team. When evaluating other members of your team please be as honest as possible. Analyze the individual’s contribution to the team, how often they communicated with the group, new ideas presented, and additional research they conducted. These evaluations will be kept confidential and not shared with other members of your team.
The second section asks you to identify yourself and your own contributions to the final team deliverable. Once again provide an honest accounting of what you did to contribute to the final deliverable and what you learned from this portion of the overall project.
You need to complete both sections to get full credit for this portion of the assignment.

High performance team:
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, at my work for a school district, we knew we needed to build teams to handle the situation. Different teams were created for different departments. Once the teams had come up with solutions on how to maintain social distancing and how to lesson the chances of getting the virus, that information was brought to the high performance team. The high performance team was made up of the leaders from each department team. They would meet and discuss the resolutions to accommodating students with meals, learning, transportation, and the continued maintenance on all school sites.
Once the teams have brainstormed, their suggestions and solutions were brought to the head of the HR department. The head of the HR department selected the team members she wanted on the high performance team. She chose them based on problem-solving abilities, availability, technological expertise, credibility, political connections, ambition, initiative,…

Organizational commitment is defined as an employee's willingness to make significant efforts for their institution, desire to remain in it, and acceptance of its goals and values. Three different perspectives of organizational engagement can be distinguished. The first is the Social Exchange perspective, which suggests that an employee's commitment to the organization is a result of small investments made over time and that would prevent them from voluntarily disengaging. The second perspective is the Affective Commitment model, which emphasizes the psychological bond between the employee and the organization. The third is the Normative Commitment model, which focuses on the worker's work ethic and sense of responsibility (Herrera & De Las Heras-Rosas, 2020).
Organizational commitment offers numerous benefits to both employees and employers. These benefits include increased job productivity, better attendance, and lower levels of…

For this week's discussion post, we have been tasked with reviewing the benefits and challenges of working in teams and then continuing to look into how this is made even more challenging when managing teams remotely. Nevertheless, today, with the complexities and needs of organizations to ensure they are maximizing efficiency and maintaining their corporate advantage, they must utilize teams. Teams are small or large groups of individuals, depending on the project and organization size, where multiple disciplines are brought together to complete a project (McShane & Von Glinow, 2022). From experience, when working in teams, more details are given to the project, and efficiency is increased due to being held accountable for your particular task or job.
During the COVID pandemic, we all had to learn a new skill of working remotely and managing teams. We all went from in-person meetings to a world filled with Zoom and other media…
