Project Charter – (Project Name) Scope List what the project will and will not address that is not covered in purpose and outcomes (e.g., this project addresses units that report into the Office of Executive Vice President. Units that report into the Provosts Office are not included) The project does address the timeline in which it needs to be built. (By Feb 1 st ) Where it needs to be build (Colorado springs) The budget (2 million) How big the building should be (1500 to 2500 sqare feet) It does not discuss who should build the store, How many people need to be working in store, how to find those people Major Known Risks (including significant Assumptions) Identify obstacles that may cause the project to fail. Risk Risk Rating (Hi, Med, Lo) Finding land in price range and availablity HI Finding Staff Hi Building in Time HI Getting supplies in time Med Getting good security Lo Reaching the target market Lo Constraints List a ny conditions that may limit the project team’s options with respect to resources, personnel, or schedule (e.g., predetermined budget or project end date, limit on number of staff that may be assigned to the project). It may be hard for the store to be build on time beceause of the limited amount of help/attention that this project gets. It also could be extreemly hard to find all the right staffing fo r this new store With all these new laws and regulations it could be hard to have all the right paperwork to make sure everything is legal It could also be very difficult to find a ll the supllies for the store External Dependencies Will project success depend on coordination of efforts between the project team and one or more other individuals or groups? Has everyone involved agreed to this interaction? This project will takea lot of external dependencies. The biggest on is the construction of the build. This is the biggest one beecause this is the one that is outside the companies ability. This means the company will have to find another company to build this store. And because of the time and money contraints it will take a lot of external dependency to get this project done on time. The other biggest dependency would be depending on the marketing department to get enough staff for this new store. Especially because of how tuff the market is now days this could prodvide Kitchen Heaven with a lot of tourbles. 6.
