The presentation on day 2 at Com-Con was directed to local start-ups and entrepreneurs on the topic of “How to Leverage Social Media Marketing” as a small group presentation with approximately 20 people in attendance. This small group of local businesspeople will allow the presentation to be more relax as opposed to a larger group of professionals. They need to know how social media users help to influence businesses they frequent online. As these local businesses may not have an actual marketing department, the main points of the presentation are 1) the differences between traditional marketing and social media marketing, 2) statistical information on social media use, 3) the pros and cons of social media marketing, and 4) several social media strategies. These topics were picked as a starting point for the group to learn the importance of social media along with the strategies that a person could handle on their own for very little and/or no cost. In preparing the presentation, the slide design was kept simple with plenty of white space to convey the information. The graph and logos are to support the ideas given on each slide and to provide variety. No
slide transitions were used to avoid unnecessary distractions. For the next conference, the presentation can be restructured for poster session for the students from local schools in public relations programs. Most of the information can be transferred into infomercial styled posters such as the differences between the two marketing styles, the social media user stats, and
split out the different strategies as their own posters to give more context. Let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Rockfish,
Thank you for speaking with me regarding the importance of Knowledge Management (KM) at GDD. Zyngier (2001) explains that knowledge and information encompass different concepts. While knowledge refers to understanding, awareness, intelligence, comprehension, and wisdom, information refers to facts, news, and definitions. Unlike information, knowledge cannot always be fully conveyed in a codified form, but it can develop through sharing prior knowledge between individuals or groups. While IT can support KM through technology, it cannot replace effective KM for the company.
Technology can support KM by facilitating the storage and dissemination of explicit knowledge, or knowledge that can be easily expressed and codified. However, much of the critically important knowledge is tacit, which is challenging to articulate and codify. Tacit knowledge capture is problematic because it often relies on personal experience and expertise, which can be difficult…

Research Topic: An investigation into understanding the study of the barriers to participation in cricket among under 15 girls in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This is my research topic but my lecturer told me to "Make your topic more concise. Choose investigation or study. Delete understanding and barriers. To use barriers is to imply there are barriers. You are seeking to find out what barriers there may be so let your study determine that".
Can you help me make a more concise topic based on the one above?

BY SAMANTHA SUBIN

Lakinya Francis is building a LinkedIn account, Haley Sanchez is expanding her email list and
Michael Elefante plans to build out his website.
"We get so fixated on what's working and that's fine, but we need to have a backup plan, especially

Influencers who have long relied on Instagram and Facebook to connect with fans, advertise and sell

platforms went offline for several hours on Monday.
CNBC spoke with 10 online creators and small business owners who use Facebook, its Instagram or

Discussion Assignment: Winning Back Lost Customer is a Costly Challenge
Perhaps the most famous case illustrating the enormous cost of winning back lost customers is that of the “Tylenol Murders.” Seven people in the Chicago area died suddenly after taking Tylenol capsules. An investigation revealed that the capsules had been laced with cyanide, a deadly poison. When the story ran on the nightly news programs, a nationwide panic ensued that caused Tylenol’s sales to plummet overnight. Many business analysts predicted that Tylenol’s manufacturer, Johnson & Johnson, would not survive the tragedy. Johnson & Johnson surprised the analysts by undertaking one of the most successful campaigns in history to win back customers. It worked, but the cost was huge. This case led not just Johnson & Johnson but also all major drug manufacturers to develop the tamperproof bottle. Having done so, Johnson & Johnson undertook an intensive public relations campaign to win back the trust of…
