It aims to generate sustainable value for its shareholders by emerging as one of the biggest consumer, corporate and investment banks catering some 24 million customers in the Personal, Wealth and Business Banking domains. Barclays aims to achieve this through its two business divisions namely Barclays UK and Barclays International. Following are some key strategic aims and objectives of the Group.

This report will capture the various way each primary external factors influences the growth and performance of Barclays bank in the financial sector.

Barclays PLC, formerly known as Barclays Limited Bank implemented financial industries and sustainability which focuses on profit, environment and the people. Barclays PLC focused on environment thru carbon, palm oil and mining. The environment focuses on priorities to target carbon, waste and paper. Barclays made decisions on palm oil depending on the effect to the environment and the employment opportunities to the people. Barclays concentrates on social aspects of the triple bottom-line and sustainability. Barclays focuses on ethical and social principles thru the implementation of respect and value of its workers, integrity and servicing customers. Barclays feels that if the workers are working together they will be able to provide a better service to the customers. Barclays has a variety of programs that benefit the developing companies and the people. The programs include “Building Young Futures” and “Barclays Spaces for Sports.” Barclays integrates retail and banking, investments and wealth management unto their company. Barclays meets the needs of all financial stakeholders and impacts long and short term of the company’s decision making. Lastly, Barclays focuses on wealth management providing clients with wealth advisors to assist clients to manage their accounts, pensions and properties.

Many people don’t know what's the best bank for them in the future, so I am writing this to show what bank will be best for me in the future. I am going to talk about 4 banks that would be good for me. The 4 banks are 4Front credit union, Charlevoix State bank, Huntington, and 5/3rd bank. 4Front credit union will be open Monday through Friday 9:00A.M.-5:00. They are open on Saturday from 9:00A.M. to 1:00P.M. Some of the locations for 4Front are East Jordan, Boyne City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix. The next bank's hours that I’m talking about is Charlevoix State bank. The Charlevoix State bank will be open Monday through Thursday 9:00A.M, to 4:00P.M. Friday they are open at 9:00A.M. to 6:00P.M. Saturday they open at 9:00A.M. and close at noon.

Since there early start in banking, Barclays has since then diversified itself into investment banking, and investment management as well. They operate over 850 branches in over 60 countries in which 2000 are based in the United Kingdom3. “The company has over 4.5 million registered online bankers and over 10.6 million Barclaycard customers in the United Kingdom”3. Barclay’s is currently the 7th largest bank in the world with assets valuing $2.41 trillion.

Barclay's is a UK based company operating in the financial market, providing banking services to individuals and corporations, as well as investment management solutions. The company is headquartered in the United Kingdom, but also operates international divisions. It was founded in 1690 and it continues to be economically stable, despite the internationalised economic crisis.

Barclays bank is one of the British multinational financial and banking service business companies that have its headquarters in London.

Further, Government intended to reform Barclays management and operation, but Middle Eastern focused on the opportunity to profit. Therefore, it is wise to accept Middle Eastern offer. Lastly, cooperating with Middle Eastern investors might lead Barclays expend to Middle Eastern area and increase commercial opportunities.
