Watergate Scandal has been considered as one of the darkest chapters in American history. The event not only refers to unethical use of power by the public representatives but also levied great deal of attention on the mechanism of surveillance over the activities of public servants. Watergate scandal provides ethical directions not only to public servants but also provides ethical guidelines to the lawyers and media representatives as well. This incident reveals how ethical lines were crossed time and again by the politicians, legal attorneys and media for their own purposes. Ignoring the righteousness of the outcomes, events like these cause severe damage to the public's trust vested in these authorities which takes a long time to restore.

A tragic hero is a person who is adored or praised by the public eye but then chooses an action that eventually leads to his or her’s own destruction. These kind of heroes have been around for an extreme amount of time. A tragic hero is most commonly heard of in a novel or epic, but there have been many historical tragic heroes throughout the real world. Every continent, every country, and even every state has had at least one real life tragic hero in their midst. The United State’s dealt with a tragic hero when they elected former president Bill Clinton into office. Clinton, who use to be known for his intelligence and great speaking abilities, is now known for his scandalous acts in the White House.

After Mueller’s indictment of Paul Manafort and Rick Gates on Monday, many Americans have begun to wonder what Mueller’s next move will be. Trump’s former foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos admitted to making false statements to FBI agents about making attempts to set up meetings between Trump campaign and Russian officials. Papadopoulos is now giving Mueller information about other people that may have been involved in collusion or that violated federal law. The fact that Manafort is being indicted at the moment means that he likely did not talk like Papadopoulos. Trump still won’t necessarily be indicted, but these recent indictments mean that this is only the start for Mueller, not the end as Trump hoped.

James Comey had no real pleasant choice or option to make for the reason being that both of his options would leave him in the bad. Technically, there was no “right” choice but in my opinion I do not believe he made the right decision. It is so close to election day for this to be happening that it seriously has the potential to cost Hillary Clinton the election. This whole scandal can lower her numbers and chances of winning the election. Because of this perhaps some undeclared voters may commit to Donald Trump, causing his voter percentage to increase. Throughout the history of the United States and its presidents, there have been a few sex scandals. The two that I am choosing to focus on are Thomas Jefferson and Bill Clinton. Of the two, I believe that the scandal involving President Clinton is the worse scandal.

Clinton impressed people with the idea of a family man in office. He was focused and charismatic. Better economy was what the American people wanted so that is what his goal was. During his reign he went through more scandals and controversies than any other president. He was impeached, yet despite all, he was loved by America. Our economy prospered and we had better diplomatic relations. The American people wanted change for the better and so they elected William Jefferson Clinton for their forty-second president of the United States of America.

The name of my President is Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States of America. Bill Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, in the small town of Hope, Arkansas. Bill was named after his father, William Jefferson Blythe II, who had been killed in a car accident just three months before he was born. Bill’s birth name was William Jefferson Blythe III. His mother, Virginia Cassidy Blyth, moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, to study nursing and find a way to support herself and Bill Clinton, and he stayed with his grandparents in Hope. Eldridge and Edith Cassidy taught Bill strong values and beliefs teaching him that everyone is created equal no matter how different of skin or race they seemed. His mother returned in
