Bronte, I am extremely disappointed in your behaviour. Your father rung me as soon as he found the house empty and the twins crying out for you. You should've considered your actions and what risks you were taking. If you had talked to me, we would've been able to negotiate the party and you may have been able to go. If you don't communicate with me, you won't even have a chance of being able to go to parties in the future. You left the house with two nine year olds… ALONE! If someone were to break in, one of the girls hurt themselves or one of them got extremely sick, you wouldn't of been there! When I was your age, I lived 2 hours away from my high school and I was never able to hang out with my friends late at night as it took ages to get back home. You took the first suggestion that was given to you, without thinking about the consequences. I would've done the same thing, but like you, I had responsibilities' at home, so sneaking out of the house wasn't an option. Even though I understand, it doesn't mean it makes it ok. Next time you feel that you need to go out with your friends late at night, you should talk to me. You may not always be able to go but we can do our best to make things work. I know our situation isn't great but it doesn't mean you need to make bad decisions. If you want to go out instead of babysitting the twins in the future, that is ok! We can easily hire a baby sitter but you need to tell me first! You need to think through all of your actions and the consequences of those actions. I am here for you, that's what mums do! I'm sorry I work so late at night, I promise if a new spot opens up during the day I will see if I can take
