This tiny Union City town has been mourning since the crash last week. On Monday, the five children of Terry and Barbara Mann were buried after a service at the First Christian Church in Lake Butler. They were Nikki, 15, and adopted children Elizabeth, 15, Johnny, 13, Heaven, 3, and 20-month-old Anthony.
Their cousins, twins Ashley and Amanda Finn, 13, were buried Wednesday next to the body of William Edwin Scott, 70, the grandfather of the seven children, who died of a heart attack after hearing about the accident.

Fatal Accident Driver Has Long Legal History
Investigators are still piecing together why an 18-wheeler slammed into the back of a car and school bus in Lake Butler yesterday, causing seven children to die. The truck that was involved in the accident was owned and operated by Crete Carrier Corp. It’s a trucking company that has a pretty good reputation for safety nationwide.
But the driver who was behind the wheel had anything but that. The WESH 2 I-Team discovered that he has a long history of problems with the law. According to driving records obtained by the I-Team, Alvin Wilkerson has been cited for eight traffic violations since 1995, including two speeding tickets and two seat belt violations. He’s also been cited twice for driving with a suspended or revoked

Patrol officials have identified the Culver Creek boarding school student who was killed on I-65, as 16-year old Alaska Young. On I-65 just south of downtown, a truck had jackknifed and ended up blocking both lanes and a police showed parking next to the truck. Alaska was driving by herself and was heading towards the accident. Apparently the car was on cruiser whiling crashing into the police car. The cop in the police car luckily got out of his car in time to avoid being hit. Authorities says Alaska was very intoxicated and resulting in her not being able to swerve around the police car when it’s lights were flashing. After, colliding with the cop car, the policemen ran over to see if she was alive and oaky. As soon as he got over there,
The police wasn't saying anything in regards to what may have been the reason for the crash. They didn't state if liquor or speed could have been a consider the crash either.
He is survived by two children, Lonnie (Patricia) Jessee of Edmonton and Carolyn (Charles) Landon of Greenwood, Indiana, and two grandsons, Christopher Jessee of Nashville and Alexander Jessee of Edmonton. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Henry Earl Jessee, a brother Murrell Jessee, and a sister Ettalyn Jessee Odle.
