CSU Stanislaus: Personal Statement Of Purpose

As children we all dream, we dream about toys, monsters, castles, fairy tales and most importantly, we dream about our futures. I have always dreamed about success, but when I was younger I was not sure of what exactly success entailed. As I grew older and continued to grow physically, spiritually, and mentally I was able to discover my true aspirations and goals.

I chose my pharmacy program at OSU because of its well-known reputation in the field that has a long history of more than 100 years in preparing world-class educational opportunity, and educating pharmacists to serve with the best medical care in health communities, which is what my career focuses on. By attending OSU, students in pharmacy program will have a chance to work closely with exceptional faculty who care about interests and professional development, where the staff are willing to support and help their students with any issues, from classes to finances to personal. It is the open doors for any of it students interested in the career to advance along with the renowned Oregon State name. The curriculum at OSU is diverse. OSU offers a wide range of electives and countless opportunities for community outreach, leadership development, hands-on training, research and collaborations at Oregon State and Oregon Health & Science University to help achieve specific goals and gain

As a transfer student, I want to feel California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) such as my home. Being ambassador, it is the best to learn about my school, share my experiences, motivate other students to work towards their goals, look for help if they need, show other students our school's resources, and make others feel special for being part of CSUF.

Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) offers a lot for us, students, in the Residence Halls. Comfortable lounges for us to study and hang out with our friends, free cable, accessible water fountains, and microwaves and mini-fridges are already provided for us. However, something valuable is missing from our Residence Halls that would have been a huge plus to living on campus. Where are our kitchens? The meal options at OLLU are great, but the food at the Cyber Café tends to get boring and bland, and the Sister Annie B's Cafeteria can get crowded with long lines to get food. Cooking is what makes food exciting and more gratifying, but without a kitchen, how will we ever learn to cook for ourselves and enjoy food? The new

As a second year National Honor Society student, the last couple of years I have been more focused on ways I can help my community to help get all my service hours in for the end of my high school NHS career. I’ve always loved doing little things to help someone who needs it but I never thought about the things that I do everyday count just as much as the other things. Community service to me, is more than just holding the door open for someone, picking up trash, or helping someone with their groceries. I want to help people grow and be a better person while serving my community. I want to do more than volunteer, I want to impact the lives of people and I feel that is what I have done.

I am a member of National Honor Society. We volunteer and help people in anyway we can. So far I have about 20 hrs of community service. I helped my teacher moved everything in his class during the summer. I helped an old woman raked leaves in her backyard. I volunteered to assist my high school's registration. I lend a hand to elementary school children and basically played and watched them. I assisted a youth wrestling tournament. There are many more services in which I hoped to help out.

I would love to be a part of Central Michigan's athletic training program. I have a deep love and passion for sports. After High School I would still want to be in the sports field and I also like caring for people which would make Athletic training the field for me. I am currently a captain on my basketball and track team. I make others around me better and take on the role of being a leader. My goal is to graduate and get my degree. After that I envision myself being a strength and conditioning coach or an athletic trainer. I want to be a good athletic trainer at a college or pro level.

Community service is an act of selflessness that grows a caring community. Community only consists on what it’s members are willing to contribute to it. Personally, it is my pristine pride to assist the community in it’s development it into a bountiful place for all.

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University is an excellent place to create a better future for myself and for my community. At this University I can make others around me strive to be the best they can be by bring my unique passion and communication skills to campus. When I was a child I was very shy and quiet and now I have realized how much I have grown. After being in high school working on group assignments and joining extracurricular activities, I have built a great relationship with the students in my high school. In particular, the French Club that I joined during high school really helped me comfortably connect with my peers. If I am given the opportunity to attend Florida A&M University, I will help the campus community

Going to college will be a massive step in my life, even graduating from high school. First off, I plan to major in Accounting and become a Public Certified Accountant. I have been told that it will be hard, just going to class will not cut it. You have to be on top of schoolwork making sure you have it turned in on time and more. I chose K-State University because I could see my future there on campus getting through it all. I thought K-State had the best Business program and so much more. Looking at other colleges wasn’t a bad choice but I couldn’t see myself on their campus as much as I did with K-State. Second, I want to get involved in groups that would be good for me. I do not know all the kinds of groups are on campus but I’m sure I will find out. I hope to start off with

Every step of my life is a lesson to me. My early childhood was a typical middle class environment in the 1990's. Since I was ten, I had always aspired to be a social worker in my life. When I was nineteen years old, I confirmed nursing as my future profession.

I am Eduardo Mendoza, and I am 21 years old. My favorite sport is soccer, which I also, coach a soccer team, and this weekend, I made it to finals. I am really happy, and can’t wait for the final. I been taking classes here at Cerritos College for about two years now. Also, I have taken classes at CSULA. I have never taken any Economics class at all, this will be my very first Economics class. I am wanting to go into training which requires intensive communication skills along with leadership and organizational skills. In all fifty states of America, it is probably hard for some students to pick which college to go to. Some would go Midwest, down south or all way to the west coast, but I believe that my state university will give me the best education. Only forty-five minutes away from home, Rutgers can offer me the greatest learning facilities, several of challenging classes and be part of a diverse community where I can achieve my personal enrichment and career goals.
