A soldier that Fox assumes is N-Unit's medic kneels next to him, along with Snake and Coyote. The three medics are talking frantically among themselves. The rest of N-Unit hovers nervously nearby; the rest of H-Unit is nowhere to be seen. Dust particles dance through the beams of sunlight from the holes where windows used to be, giving the whole scene a strangely dreamy air.

Dumbfound by the whole experience he began barricading the door shut and looking for something to defend himself with. When she finished the cut was hidden behind a tight and neatly wrapped bandage. Then she got up. “I’m going to go over there and finish helping them so we can leave.” She pointed across the room, then she looked at me, “He looks like he needs to talk to you." She spun on her heels and left us alone.
Her lover turned and let his hand idle over the door to his right, its large silver knob cast a glow to the surface of his hand making it appear white. He glanced at the sky saying a prayer, he heard the shallow breathing and anxious fret of the maiden. Turning quickly he threw open the door to the left, unable to imagine a life without his love. The tiger sprang out, its muscles pulsing under its titian fur. It dug its protracted claws into the ground, showing its aciculate teeth.
