To me high school and middle school are two very different stages of school life. Some people might think going to a new school, making new friends, and adjusting to the bigger community is easy, but for other people it can be hard. My transition from middle school to high school was very different from what I imagined it to be. For me, middle school always had fewer students and shorter class schedules. For example, my middle school had about 300 kids from Kindergarten to 8th Grade. Since there were only a little amount of students at my school, I got to know most of the younger students’ names which was super awesome. A smaller environment made me feel more noticed and most of the kids would play in big groups. Also, middle school had shorter
First, the homework you have in high school is quite a bit different than middle school. In middle school we had homework almost everyday in most of our classes. In high school we have homework about once or twice a week for each class depending on the class and project. In middle school I believe we had way more homework than we do in high school. The homework in high school is also easier. Some people struggle with homework but I just sit down and do it so then after I can do whatever I want. I think high school is a lot different than in middle school.
The biggest difference between middle school and high school is what the work is going towards. In middle school all one needs is to get a good grade for the sake of grades and maybe determine what classes they want to take in high school. That is far less pressure than faced high school. In high school grades can feel like a great weight on your shoulders especially in the more advanced courses. What is done in high school determines where your future leads in college or whatever is done after. It not only shapes your education but how you are presented to the adult world to be entered soon. Not only that, if your grades are not high enough you will be pulled from activities. Overall
Middle school was a place where I was beginning to mature and see how to make it on my own. Also I got to meet new people. Try new things and just have fun. The best day I had in middle school was when me and my friend won the science fair project fair. We had came in second place. I was so happy and proud of what we
Many people endure three years of middle school and four years of high school. It is an eventful time for children between 11 to 18 years old. During the adolescent years there are hormonal changes, environmental changes and emotional developmental gains. Middle school is the beginning of transitioning towards independence under the constant eye of adults. During high school they are challenged with real-world challenges that help them transition into adulthood. The behaviors of these individuals change as the factors change around them. For every person, the experience of high school or middle school may be different. Either way, both have the same goal of wanting the student to succeed and evolve. Even so, the similarities and differences vary. Middle school and high school are alike in the areas of receiving an education, socializing with others, and having teachers while different in areas of maturity, difficulty in work, and independence.
To start, everyone goes to Elementry school then to middle school but have to ever wonder how different they are. Elementry school is so fun with playgrounds and after school activities. But when you here about Middle school I was so excited to go. I found out that it is so exciting and different. Some differences and similarities between Middle School and Elementary School include the size of school, number of grades, and classes. These are some of the many things Middle School so enjoyable.
Middle school was a rough time like it was for many because I still did not even know who I was yet. MIddle school was very difficult to adjust to at first because all my life I had only been in one class all day everyday with the same teacher and they made sure you always had a note to remind you of your homework for the night. Middle school was when I began to make my own choices and had to suffer the consequences that came with those choices. In middle school is when I found out how much I liked business because of a field trip my 6th grade year to Biztown which was a small fake “community” that everyone worked in and would be a citizen in the town.
It did not take very long for me to realize that middle school really wasn’t all that bad, there were many aspects that I actually liked more. For me, not wearing uniforms was a big deal, although it rarely strayed from jeans or khaki shorts, being able to wear what I wanted gave me a sense of freedom. On top of this, passing periods gave me the opportunity to roam the halls and talk
Middle school was a drastic change in my life. In elementary school I didn't have to worry about wearing makeup or what I wore but once I entered middle school, it all changed. The classes became harder, the testing became more frequent, the teachers started to care less, and having to change classes every hour and a half was very confusing.
From experience i can tell you that middle school is very fun. There is not as much fighting and drama as you think. You get a lot more privileges in middle school and you get more freedom than you do in Elementary. Most schools you will have about 8 periods. So you're not stuck in one room all day long. The teachers are great. Your friends are nice. You don’t have recess but today you either have pre athletics or P.E so you do get exercise. The food is better to. You can be in band, multimedia, art, choir, and other things
The transition from middle school to high school was not an easy one and it was quickly apparent to me when I received my freshman year schedule. Even though middle school slightly
Going from elementary to middle school is hard. There are lots of things that are different between the both of them. Math, Science, Soc-st, English, Reading is all things I learned this year. There's more I learned besides Classes I learned about middle school sports and activities outside of my main classes. There are many things I learned and I hope that I learn more Things next year.
The junior high school and middle school is basically the same thing. Today we still have junior high schools but the mostly named that way because of the historically context. Looking at my notes taken from this year, middle schools span from 6 th to 8 th grade, the schedule is flexible and block depending on the class. Teachers have interdisciplinary teams and they work together as a grade level instead of working on common classes they teach. Lastly in the middle school, everyone is a team and everyone is working together. I picture it as one team, one heartbeat. Everyone is working together make the school alive figuratively speaking.
Walking leisurely with a teacher compared to walking alone in the hallways, surely I would prefer to walk alone. Because of our growth in maturity, we students have an abundant number of responsibilities in the sixth grade. These responsibilities consist of an exceptional amount of homework and quizzes, a locker combination, remembering the schedule, and walking alone to classes. Adapting to middle school is difficult due to the bountiful responsibilities; however, students can adapt in no time. The freedom and the responsibilities students obtain in sixth grade make it extremely different to fifth grade.
Schools are undoubtedly important to one’s education. The most important of those schools are high schools and colleges because they have the most impact on deciding what occupation a student wants to pursue. Although high schools and colleges share similarities in providing education, there are also many differences between each other.
Education is a big part of people's lives. The average high school student spends eight hours at school a day. These students attend school for 12 years. Most students continue their education after they graduate. Which can be anywhere from one to twelve years or more depending on what one is going for. High school and college are very different but also have a few similarities as well.
