I was a passenger in the backseat of our family vehicle. The small bumps in the pavement lulled me to a place of perfect repose. As we looked outside our windows we could see the sky painting a magnificent show for us. The sun was going down, but the heavens were brighter and more astounding than I had ever seen them before. My eyes peeled open slowly and the bright sunlight flooded into my eyes, blinding me. I heard the sound of running water and felt the cold breeze flow over my body. I looked out of my hammock and in front of me was a beautiful waterfall and several towering, bright green trees. My friends whom were with me shortly awoke and we packed our things and set off on our first true day of hiking in the Appalachian mountains.

When i eventually open my eyes i can finally see my surroundings and the first thing i notice is the clear blue water crashing with the golden beach , the clean sky and the smell of fresh air . Scanning the area around me , i realise that Alice and i aren't the only survivors , there's : Arthur , Damien and Claudet . There all unconscious so Alice makes it her duty to try and wake them . During these few minutes i decide to process our situation , where we are , what the hell happened and what we're going to do now . Looking behind me i’m hit with a rich , lush forest looking to be full of life and heaven like . Peacefully glaring at the woodland i feel like my problems float away and that i'm as free as a feather able to float into the clouds and never return, leaving behind the inferno of a past that i have and creating a new life for myself .

Throughout the years, my family and I all wake up just as the sun rises like baby birds seeing light for the first time as they climb out of there cracked shells. My father pulls my two sleepy siblings out from the comfort of their beds and they stumble out to the kitchen still in pajamas led by the sents of sizzling bacon and warm butter filled toast. Classic rustic red barns flood each side of the long stretch of roads and horses run free in the fields like wind blowing briskly off the ocean shore. Then we saw Bison running in front of use from the bobcats to but they got away but one of the animals died because we got to the end of the ranch and we saw a dead elk and there was guts everywhere and we told the park people and they said they would clean it up. On the last day we went to the long X-trail and when we got there we had to walk the trail and we where walking and we saw a bald eagle and he was right in a tree above me and then we saw a Cardinal and it flies fast we saw it for a minute and the next minute it was gone and we were amazed. When we got to the top of the trail we could see for miles and we could see a lot of houses and cars when we went back down we went on one of those Gondola and it was fun but I was afraid of heights and we got to the bottom and are car was there somehow and we got in it and we said it was amazing.we thought it was amazing seeing all of the animals and all the nice sites we

The sound of the chirping birds awoke me. The smell of the grassy-smelling rain tickled my nose as I pried my heavy eyes open, tired from yesterday’s long day of adventuring. I squirmed out of my cozy sleeping bag, being gentle on my sore back after sleeping on the diamond-hard rock last night. I crawled out of my little compact tent as my stomach growled of hunger. My mom and I went to Indian Hill to take a hike. I put on my sweatshirt, my pants, boots and then put on my camel backpack. We looked at the map, picked the yellow trail, then walked up the stairs and started hiking. I looked down to check my phone to see how much battery I had. I wanted to make sure I could listen to music. It was at 87% charge so I started playing music from Pandora. I put it on today’s pop and hip hop. All I could see were lots and lots of trees . The park was filled with the noise of cars driving in the background.

As the sun rose over the horizon it awoke the jungle slowly and efficiently. Soon I could hear the morning birds chirp with all their heart and that triggered joy and excitement in my soul. A morning breeze toured the jungle making the flowers and leaves tango with rhythm and finesse as though they were experts. The lush evergreen trees stood so firm as if the roots were clinging for their very life, in the distance there was a Crystal River and a waterfall as its source. I could hear the rampaging rapids after the dip of the waterfall which slowly converted into a swift river forcefully turning at every bank.

I wake up as the sun starts to peek through the windows of my rented house and I quickly go outside. As I open my door I stop, frozen, unable to take it all in at once. This is not anything like I have seen in Texas, it is a different type of beauty. After fifteen minutes of admiration, I go inside and rush to put a back pack together, so that I can be on my way to go hiking. After racing down the mountain for a couple of hours I stayed to see the sunset. What I had missed all these years. The sunset to me was like paradise. As if I had jumped a portal and landed on the other side of the world. A place that I belonged. After years of isolation, of feeling without anything to do, with my life like a void, not having anything, I finally felt everything. I could feel the emotion in that place. All the memories, all the things I did. Those were good times, and I will never forget them, but then I came back to reality, and it 's that they will never come back. However I was there for a reason, I needed to complete my mission and my promise. Then, off into the distance, I saw two people. From the top of my lungs I shouted.
