During the Holocaust many Jews were hidden in fear. Force to live together and make a living. There was no discrimination of age of Jews. Jews old and young alike were persecuted. Like the three teens named Margot Frank, Anne Frank, and Peter Van Daan. These teens have Similar and different traits. Margot, Peter, and Anne were all Jews. They were all hidden in the Annex because of them being Jews. Also they had to wear the Jewish star on their clothing. Within the years they started to become good friends. They talked to each other and helped when in need. Anne, Margot, and Peter all had become closer than they were before they known each other. Peter, Anne and Margot have many differences and One of them are Attitude. Peter is very outgoing towards some people. While Peter is outgoing Margot is a shy and to herself type of person. There ages are way different to and they have different types of favorite parents. Anne is the youngest out of Peter and Margot and she is her dad, Otto favorite. Margot is the second oldest out of Anne and Peter, but she is her mom, Edith favorite. …show more content…
Margot and Peter were older than Anne and were more mature. Anne and Peter both loved cats and had one also. They also had different genders and types of rooms. Margot was a young lady and so was Anne, while Peter was a young man. Peter had a room to himself, Anne had to share a room with one person, and Margot shared a room with both of her parents. These teens have similar and different traits. Each of them lived together and became closer. They also had a different thing to study and learn about. The teens were good friends, Jews, lived in the Annex, and are all dead. Their differences were there genders, age, and parent’s favorite. These similarities and differences helps people understand more about the
The first way I think they are similar is they both have children. The Van Dann’s Child’s name is peter, which is a boy. The Frank’s children’s names are Margot Frank, and Anne Frank, who are both girls. The second way I find them similar is they are both protective of their children. The Franks told the Van Daan’s in the book they would rather starve than let their children be hungry. The Van Daan’s had many talks with their son, Peter of how to treat girls when he is dating them that is because he likes Anne Frank.
There are many things that are the same, but one main similarity that occurred was that Anne and Peter both fell in love with each other towards the end. The thing that did not happened in the play though, was that Peter and Anne both kissed.
In the Diary of Anne Frank, the two characters I chose to compare and contrast are Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Van Daan. These two ladies are similar and different in many ways. They are both middle aged women that live in Amsterdam. When the Holocaust began in 1939, Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Van Daan moved into the secret Annex with their families.
During the holocaust there were 3 teen agers named Anne, Margo frank and peter Van Daan. Anne is 13 years old and peter and Margo are 16 years old. Peter is the only sibling in his family but Margo and Anne are sisters. Peter has a cat named musty but Margo and Anne doesn’t have a pet. Anne and Margo are Mr. and Mrs. Frank. Peter is the child of MR. and Mrs. Van Daan.
Towards the beginning of the play, Peter and Anne have a teasing and kind of playful relationship. They don’t totally like each other, but they’re also very different. Anne is closer to her father than anyone else, but she doesn’t really enjoy her mother. Anne and Margot are fairly close, but Anne seems pretty jealous of Margot and her looks. Mrs. and Mr. Van Daan seem kind of rude to her.
The next topic is their love lives, which is very different from their family relationships. Both Patty and Anne fell in love with the person whom they shared their captivity experience. Anne fell in love with peter, the Van Daan’s 16 year old son (Diary of Anne Frank). Patty fell in love with Anton, a 22 year old man who was drafter into the war by Hitler (Greene). Anton didn’t like Hitler, or even support his cause. While both Patty and Anne had an age difference in their relationships, Patty’s was much more prominent, at a difference of 10 whole years, versus Anne and Peter’s age gap of only three years. Another similarity is that both relationships only had a little time to progress. Unfortunately, both Anton and Peter die by the end of the story (Greene) (Diary of Anne Frank).
6. Suggest reasons why Peter's history of intimate relationships with Lisa and Mary differs from that of his siblings.
Anne, Margot, and Peter lived together for several years, so they began to bond to find out they have many similarities. For example, they all attend school. Anne, Margot, and Peter all attended the same school, which was Jewish Secondary. The Holocaust caused them to stop going to school. While they were in hiding, Mr. Frank decided to tutor them to keep up their academics.
Anne, Margot, and Peter are teenagers that are in hiding. Anne is the youngest, and she is 13, Margot is 3 years older than Anne. Peter Van Daan is the same age as Margot Frank. The two families are hiding in an attic together. They are hiding in an attic above Mr. Frank’s business so that they will not be sent to concentration camps.
The movie and play version of this famous diary have a lot of similarities. For example in both versions of this well-known story Mr. Van Daan and Mrs. Van Daan quarrel about getting rid of Mrs. Van Daan’s precious coat that her father gave her. Obviously Mrs. Van Daan is against selling her coat, but her pleas fall on deaf ears and Mr. Van Daan gives Miep the fur coat to sell. Another way that the two are comparable is that despite that fact that the two characters despised each other in the beginning Anne and Peter still end up having romantic feeling toward each other. Throughout all the hardships that Anne and Peter had to go through from no longer having the luxuries that they are used to, to feeling like no one in their family understands
Margot, the first born, was a quiet, reserved and studious girl. She liked her “inside time” and as a young girl, enjoyed playing store, playing with her favorite dolls and entertaining her baby sister, Anne. Anne was the
Anna and Peter both have interesting lives! Anna is being raised by an amazing single mom, but not everyone thinks that becauses of the choices she has made when she was 16. She is very shy and not very talkative, because of this she notices a lot that happens around her. She is a very sensitive person because she never stands up for herself so people like Alexia are mean to her over and over again. Peter is a class
Peter change a lot during this time. Especially his relationship with Anne change before he thought she was annoying and loud “ I heard about you… how you talked so much in class they called you Mrs Quack. How Mr. Smitter made you write a
Margot in the short story and movie were both very different. Margot in the short story was very shy and didn’t hardly talk. Margot in the movie was talkative and talked back. She acted like any other bratty child. Margot had a variety when it came to her personality. It was like she was trying to be
