Over the decades, music has evolved; from the classics to today’s contemporary music. In the 1960’s it was all about The Beatles, 1970’s was about Pink Floyd, 1980’s was about the king of pop: Michael Jackson, Nirvana in the 1990’s, and Green Day in the 2000’s. However today’s artists are completely different from the previous generations in terms of composition and quality. The songs' composition have change in the structure of the lyrics. The lyrics of the new songs have become so catchy and meaningful. Something that many artist of past decades couldn’t do with their long and unique songs. Although twerking has existed for a very long time, Miley Cyrus was the first to popularize it, wiith her great performance at the 2013 Vma’s. For example, Taylor Swift has help us all with the songs of her breakups. After seeing how she writes a song for every breakup she has had, makes the audience feel asure that they are those who have worse experience with relationships. Music is such an important and relieving thing that has brought happiness and comfort to teenagers. What else can be as inspiring as 679 , it’s a wonderful piece of musical art. A huge gap exists between the 20th century music and the 21st century and that’s due to the wonderful songs we have now. Who wouldn’t like a song about a guy’s anaconda or girls bad breakups, what else can be as interesting as that.
