How the cloud technology works from software perspective ________________________________________ Introduction Cloud technology is the best way to offer any host services from the Internet. Small and large companies pursue the advantages of cloud technology, such as the resources and different services rather than build and maintain whole storage and computing setup at their location. The main purpose of the cloud technology from software perspective is to provide private and hybrid cloud, big data analytics, file storage, disaster recovery, and important backup. Generally, cloud providers offer services according to their models. There are mainly three standard models are available according to National Institute of Standards and Technology, which are Infrastructure as a Service (servers that allows user to store data and access the services), Platform as a Service (develop the software for the user to access cloud technology), and Software as a Service (graphical view of application, from where user can access cloud servers) The major steps explained here are (1) Infrastructure as a Service, (2) Platform as a Service, and (3) Software as a Service. The Process Cloud Computing Stack is the model for enabling the resources and storage space for the configurable resources, such as network, applications, and different devices. It provides user authentication to sign up and access the services at user’s location without going anywhere. In simple term, at this stage cloud
The cloud can provide swift access to malleable and low budget IT resources. With the use of cloud computing, you are not required to make big direct investments in hardware and spend a lot of time on managing that hardware and associated services. Cloud Computing compromises a comprehensive set of on-demand services, such as global computing, storage, database, analytics, application, and deployment services. These services will assist an organization move quicker, reduce IT costs, and scale systems. Cloud Computing has three key categories, they are usually referred to as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Mobile as a Service (MaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Cloud computing is an emerging technology. With its huge demand, it is rapidly growing. Cloud computing is defined as "a type of Internet-based computing", where different services such as servers, storage and applications are delivered to an organization’s technological infrastructure through the Internet.
Cloud computing offers services to users based on on-demand self-service, broad network access, measured service, resource pooling and rapid elasticity; These characteristics promise a faster time for implementation, lower cost, superior scalability and a better end user satisfaction. These services are delivered in models known as Software As A service (SaaS), Platform As A Service (PAAS), and Infrastructure As A Service (IAAS). The first layer which is the Software As A service (SaaS) is the layer in which software applications are delivered to end users. Below is the Platform As A Service (PAAS) layer which offers a platform on which applications can be developed. The lowest layer is the Infrastructure As A Service (IAAS) layer, in this layer the physical servers and network infrastructure is offered as a service. These services can be deployed throughout the internet (Public Cloud Computing), on the intranet infrastructure, (Private Cloud Computing), in a shared community of private networks (Community Cloud Computing), or a hybrid of both (Hybrid Cloud Computing). The service deployment models are [8]:
Cloud computing is innovative which uses well advanced computational power resource and gigantic improvement in storage capabilities, Cloud is the long dreamed vision of computing utilities, which helps in enable ling the sharing of
The introduction of cloud computing infrastructure has brought in many changes to the infrastructure of any IT organization. Cloud computing has become the latest and most advanced infrastructure service to date. More and more companies are migrating to cloud computing service as days go, as they provide more flexibility and scalability and user friendliness in many aspects of an IT infrastructure.
Cloud computing enables businesses to deploy or subscribe to services as it needs them. A cloud features self-service, broad network access, centralized shared resources, and measurement of service usage. There are three widely accepted types of cloud service models. They are Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Each serves a different purpose and business may choose to use just one, two, or even all three of the cloud types simultaneously as the needed.
Cloud computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared information, resources, and software, are provided to terminals and portable devices on-demand. It is a rapidly developing and excellent promising technology. Cloud computing is the product of the combination of grid computing, distributed computing, parallel computing, and ubiquitous computing. Cloud Computing model has enabled IT organizations to serve the users globally. It gives the services like Platform as a Service, Software as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service without users being much aware of the details in which the services are provided.
Cloud computing is the growing method of computing adopted by many organizations nowadays around the world. The word ‘cloud’ refers to the network, the servers providing the cloud services can be located anywhere in the world (Garg & Buyya, 2012). The services are provided through internet and made available to the end users. Several definitions are given for the cloud computing in the literature. According to (Mell & Grance, 2011), “Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. This Cloud model promotes availability and is composed of five essential characteristics, three service models, and four deployment models.” Different advantages of having cloud computing includes, services are available on demand, the users have to pay only as per the use and the services are accessible from anywhere as it is available over network. There are different service models and deployment models available for cloud computing.
Cloud computing alludes to a network of computers, connected through internet, sharing the resources given by cloud providers catering to its user’s needs like scalability, usability, resource requirements. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) gave meaning of cloud computing, which demonstrates the vast majority of the key components of cloud computing [1]: "Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks,
This paper gives an overview at the structure and working of the idea of cloud computing. This paper consists of the basic idea of cloud computing, its various characteristics along with its components, architecture and also the different types of cloud computing. In this paper the various terms and various concepts related to cloud computing are explained. This paper concludes with the current research and projects that are being performed in cloud computing.
A cloud is a unique information technology (IT) environment which has been designed for the purpose of provisioning, scalable and measured information technology resources remotely. Cloud Computing Service provides IT as a service over the internet on demand basis and the payment is based on usage. Cloud computing services are provided from development platforms and full applications to servers and storage. Cloud computing is a pervasive advancement which gives a beneficiary way to the clients to benefit the cloud applications on interest. It refers to the network service in which services are provided with assured QoS, affordable computing infrastructures with an easy and simple access on demand and is enabled
Cloud based technology is a computer based service which allows a large number of computers to be actively connected to one another through an internet connection and software. A few examples of cloud based computing are Drop box, Google drive, MS One Drive, LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter, Hotmail, just to name a few.
Cloud Computing is one of the emerging technologies which now represent a reality and a low-cost computing power resource which has gained popularity among all business categories, especially medium and small size, governmental or medical organizations, as more people are realizing the power and benefits of cloud environments. Cloud computing involves deploying groups of remote servers and software networks that allow different kinds of data sources be uploaded for real time processing to generate computing results without the need to store processed data on the cloud. Clouds can be classified as public, private or hybrid
Cloud computing is a technology which provides a computing services over the internet. The services and solutions of cloud computing is delivered to the clients through internet. Call it storage service or computing service it is all about delivering these services in real time. Cloud services allows individuals and business to use software and hardware. There are several models that service providers deliver the services to their consumers. Cloud computing service providers model is based on internet that is to say cloud computing is possible only through internet. Providing services or solutions over the internet has a huge significance because of the fact that the deployment or development is on real
This technology named as Cloud Technology or Cloud Computing was just a buzzword during the early 2010 but became more prominent and was widely adopted by 2012.Internet in other terms can be termed as a “cloud”. There are two words that define Cloud computing the most: Web Applications. Any organization using huge clusters of computers which require high performance through the host of services available use cloud computing. [1, 2]
