Good human resource strategies are difficult to achieve, hard to sustain, and expensive. The objective of a human resource strategy is to manage labor and design jobs so people are effectively and efficiently utilized.
Johnson & Johnson follows different policies to treat their employees fairly and equally. The policies are as follows:

The responsibilities of Human Resources are Global talent management, Health Resources, Worldwide Compensation resources, and Global Benefits. The Vice President of the Supply Chain is responsible for implementing labor relations policy.
Local Human Resources and their Global Labor and Employee Relations Function completes employee and labor relations assessments and audits. Currently, there are three regional leaders who are assigned various countries of the world. The responsibility of these leaders is to monitor compliance and maintain relationships with work councils and labor unions.

The extremely important practices for J&J are work design practices when it comes to processes that prompted the expected behaviors. The strong work design example of J&J is the assumption of decentralized management.
