Where do I see myself in ten years? Well, i’m probably just graduating from college/Kentucky with a MBA,and being drafted into the NBA. I want to go in the first round near the beginning of the draft.Graduating with a degree in business is important to me because, after my career in the NBA i’ll be able to start my own business. This is an important long term goal because, I'm doing something I would love, and i’d be making enough money to support my mom when she’s too old to work. It brings me joy because i'm doing what I love. When i'm playing basketball I have no other worry in the world. Those are my long term goals.
In the next 5-8 years, I see myself in high school. Probably in Ronald Reagan, on the basketball team, with at least a 3.5
Where i’m going to see myself in 10 years is in Michigan State University playing for the Michigan State Spartans. I’m going to buy a nice house and i’m going to participate in my job very
When I think about the next five years of my life, I like to think that I will be getting on my feet and succeeding in life. It has taken me a while to figure out what I want to do with my life and what I would like to do for my career. Over the next five years, I am going to have to do a lot in school and outside of school to prepare for my future career .
My second goal specifically is to get a position in the human resources department with my current employer within the next six months. Gaining a position in the human resources department puts me one step closer to achieving my long-term goal of becoming a human resource manager. The goal is measurable because I plan to apply to any position I see posted in the human resources department that interest me and align with my professional goals. The goal is attainable because I have access to our job postings website and I plan to check this website for updates at least twice per week. This is a reasonable goal because I sometimes have downtime at work, which would allow me to use that time to search for new postings and even apply. This goal is time-bound because I gave myself a deadline of six months to achieve it. With my updated resume, experience and now my current course of study at Western Governors University, it makes me a desirable candidate for a position in HR.
One of the proudest moments of my life is graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in social work. I’m the first in my family to do so, and I am going to go further in my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in social work. The main reason why I am pursuing a Master’s degree is because it will give me more options than a Bachelor’s degree would ever give me. Additionally, it will give me the opportunity for job stability since most employment prospects is requiring a Master’s degree to get hired. My long term goal is to work in the VA hospital. Working at the VA hospital has many benefits and job stability. Getting employed at the VA hospital has been a goal of mine since I first started my social work courses. And a Master’s degree is the
In 10 years I see myself living the luxury lifestyle in Hawaii with a beautiful educated woman with 3 kids and 2 dog. I will be playing professional basketball overseas with the Hawaii Warriors. It's always been my dream to play overseas basketball or play in the NBA, with dedication and hard work I can achieve my goals. Once I make it I want to give back to my family and the community. I understand that my parents work hard for me to get me where I am today, so I want to ensure them that they will never have to work again. Second I'm going to give back to the community, I plan on opening a basketball complex gym for the kids, then I want to open a cheer leading and gymnastics complex for the girls and boys. I will already have my business
Organizations, groups, churches, etc. all have a vision and mission. As a graduate student, I have come up with a vision and mission statement that are motivational in my success. My vision as a MHA student in graduate education at Belhaven University is to remain curious, creative and a thinker who will remain courageous as I develop the servant leadership knowledge offered, that will allow me the opportunity to be a valuable Healthcare leader who can work both independently and collaboratively. I will face many challenges with an open mind and seek answers and ways to improve the changing arena of Health Care. As a graduate student I would like to expand my knowledge and my discovery of the health
In one of the stories called Making Kids Work on Goals, Sue Shellenbarger has evidence of students wanting to achieve their goals at younger ages. “42% of students ages 10 to 18 say they are energetically pursing their goals 35% Strongly believe they can find ways around problems that may arise and 53% say they are hopeful for their future”. In another story called Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams, Randy Pausch talks about how childhood dreams can come true and that it feels even better to help people accomplish their childhood dreams. “And as you get older, you may find that ‘enabling the dreams of others’ is even more fun” Now is it better to have short term or long term goals for a dream job, short term works better because of how long term goals seem to affect people.
I see myself in the NBA or the NFL, making enough money to have a house and food for my family. I will be visiting my family on my off days and helping them with what they need, and making sure I take care of myself, and keeping myself in shape. I’m going to be in the NBA, hopefully on the Chicago Bulls; my favorite team in the NBA because it's my home state. My favorite player Derrick Rose is on their and that team is a good team. My school has a basketball team I got people in my school that can help me with my goals. In five years I see myself you're in a basketball or a football team, having good grades and keeping my healthy. I'm going to be the oldest child in my house I'm I have to watch out for them especially my little brother Daniel.
I’ve always had a passion for children. When I was little I use to always want to work in a day care. When I got my first childcare job, I realized I loved kids and wanted to do more that just work at a daycare. I felt that I would learn a lot from this degree, so that it would benefit me in my new found loved career. Having this undergraduate degree will help me strive in the direction that I would like to go in life.
I am 54 years old, living the single life. I live in a household with one other adult, and I am a full-time student and currently a part-time employee. Based on my current situation (Older, Single, No Dependent Children), therefore, my financial activities should include making arrangement for long-term health care coverage, develop an estate plan, purchase an appropriate insurance plan, and develop an investment program for retirement. My financial plan goals are Short-term goals,
My first top short term goal is to survive basic training and be the top of my class. I plan on reaching this goal by being mentally and physically prepared in what I may encounter and this also includes following orders from a drill sergeant or any sergeant in general some roadblocks I may encounter is my mind set or people around telling me to give up and just quit when situations get stressful in basic training. My second short term goal is to transform my body to look and feel better of myself, I plan on reaching this goal by working out every day, eating healthy and not give up. Some road blocks I might encounter is again people doubting me telling me I can’t do it and temptations of eating junk food around me. My last short term goal
From the perspective of going back five years from the year 2026 many events took place then in my life. In the year 2021, I am thirty nine years old and I am still working at the VA Hospital but as a Nurse Administrative. I had a successful promotion due to my hard work and dedication. My oldest son is 17, and I am going crazy as a senior mom saving up money to buy him his car. He is about to graduate and got accepted into Baylor University. My baby is only 15, but I am going crazy with the athletic schedules of his life. In 2016, I officially graduated from Nursing School. I am dealing with the everyday life of two teenage boys. In 2011, I am working at a hospital and trying to deal with my mentality of going back to school.
Upon graduating with a bachelor of science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and minor in Chemistry from California State University Northridge (CSUN), I took a year off to better prepare myself for my then-upcoming MCAT exam. In the midst of MCAT preparation, I took the open opportunity to embarked on a few honors courses at a local community college while working full-time and volunteering. I initially planned to complete these short-term endeavors for a span of one year. However, by grace of virtue, three years had transpired. Though I accomplished the short-term goals I set out to do, I felt I fell too far behind in what I needed to do for my future career.
Around the end of my sophomore year, I see myself narrowing down a career choice. After taking many different courses during previous years here at Bryant, I see that I finally figure out my purpose and I am confident with my specific decision. As this realization hits, I see myself getting into and working hard in graduate school in order to further my studies before entering the work force.
The question is where do I see myself in five to ten years. The honest answer is I don’t know where I’m going to be or what my career is going to be in the future. Right now I have no idea what I want to do with my life. Hopefully, I will move out of my parents house, get married to someone that I can see spending the rest of my life with and have a couple of children. I want to be a father so my kids can carry on the family name and most importantly to watch them grow up and raise them like my parents have done for my brother and myself. I hope in ten years that I will be at a steady and stable job that I enjoy going to every day and that I make enough money to support my family and not be worrying about money issues. Also, I hope that I’m done with school and have achieved the highest degree in my career field and hopefully I have no student loans that I need to payoff. Lastly, I see myself some place sunny and warm all year round with a house overlooking the water.
