Many people have different definitions of what their hero is like. It will be someone that can make you feel safe and secure.

A hero is someone that shows honor, bravery and provides an assist to those in need. In today’s world, society likes to follow celebrities and stars. People aspire to be them because society believe’s that these are our hero’s. People who have done little to nothing are seen as our Idols.

To me, a hero is someone who has done something worth remembering, something that helps us all, something that changes the way of thinking and the way of living.

In todays society heros to us are celebrities or superheroes but in reality ordinary people can be heroes too. A hero is a person who brings out the good in people and makes us want to bring positivity to the world.

At a young age and even today we all have a hero; it can range from a character in movies to video games even into literature. Throughout my life I have never been one to enjoy reading or watching movies, my daily activity was playing video games meaning all the heroes to me where inside a video game. Growing up playing numberless different videos games you get a taste at such a diverse variety of worlds, story line, environments, and even items. That being, I have come to learn about quite a bit of characters and some have really stood out in being extra heroic in their actions or just being cooler than the other; Master Chief (Halo), Mario (Super Mario Bros.), and Link (Legend of Zelda).

What is a hero? A definition of the hero, out of many, would be a person noted for feats of courage or nobility, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life for a great cause. That is what it would say you looked it up in a dictionary.

According to dictionary.com, a hero is a person noted for courageous acts or nobility of character. This definition is absolutely true. Anyone can be a hero due to the fact that all it takes is standing up for someone, being there when someone needs you, or as extreme as saving one's life. Regardless of the situation, one should always be a hero to themselves.

For me a hero is someone who touches our lives in a personal way and does not do it for themselves.

In his novel, Eric Blehm portrays some obvious heroes, but some of them are low key and stay behind the scenes. Throughout the novel Fearless there are many heroes; Nathan, Savannah, Kelley, and Adam are all heroes
