Later after school we had to go get his money and went to go buy a prepaid card to go buy his his items and then lastly we went back to my house and we went to best buy and bought his item and that was the easy part the real challenge fast forwarding 3 days later was figuring out how to bring the ps4 and game from my house without noticing. So we planned it out to have the package delivered to my house after school and when the package come with Kevin and we finally saw the delivery truck come 2 hours later we quickly came and took the package and opened it quickly and unboxed the ps4 and took all the content out of it and transferred it into a backpack since the ps4 was a small and thin console and we then disposed of all the packaging and put the game into his backpack and then when we were finished I said “Well we are done with this problem that you started” and he responded “ Yeah dude sorry for the trouble, but at least we can play together online now”. I never realized how boring and long a car ride could seem when you’re anxious and excited for what’s to come. I never knew what waited down the path I chose, and how easily something can be lost. These events led me to the way I am today and whom I want to be in th future.

As he started telling me the first steps when getting into your vehicle ,me so desperately wanting to just hit the road I ignored all of his instructions ,thinking I had the car in reverse I pushed the gas pedal.The next few seconds turned into minutes as I can hear my dad yelling ,"Brake,Brake ! .I opened my eyes and can see my bike in between the car and wall in front of me,"Well I did need a new bike ". Knowing what I had done I tried turning the awkward moment into humor . The same night for dinner nothing but silence came from the family dining room .I quickly ate my dinner and asked if it was ok for me to be excused .I went upstairs layed on my bed and thought about the events that occured that night ,and I knew I had no chance on asking my father for another chance on driving. The next morning I woke up to chattering and laughter coming from the kitchen .I went downstairs to check it out , it was my parents with both of their suitcases on the kitchen floor . I asked " What's going on "? My mother looked at me and gave me a big kiss on the cheek and said ,"It's our anniversary and we're going on a cruise to the Bahamas". I looked shocked as I glanced around the kitchen floor looking for my suitcase

As we stepped off the plane, there was an immediate rush of warm air when we took the stairs down to the tarmack. After the five hour plane ride in the cold, small plane, it felt nice to stretch out in the sun. We walked off of the tarmack onto the sidewalk that led to the parking garage and were immediately greeted by a kind man. He welcomed us to his country and directed us towards the correct direction. As we left him behind, he shouted “pura vida” to us. This was the first time I ever heard this phrase and I had no idea what it meant.

Our first stop that night was a mere 45 minute drive. We pull up and see a beautiful 450 sitting in his driveway. We hop out and start admiring it in awe. We then hear his friends pull up in a nice little tuner car.

The announcer was counting down and all I could think to myself was, “Please don’t die.” Standing dead smack in the centre of a herd of men and women, all of which were whooping and hollering anticipating the starting pistol to go off. Yet, there I was, praying that my 3 months of training wasn’t going to let me down. 5 seconds to go; and there was no turning back, what laid ahead for all of us was 11 miles and 21 obstacles that were designed to test one’s mental and physical tenacity. It wasn’t a competition; it was a trial. “Here we go!” my best friend Aaron declares sportively with a nudge as the pistol goes off, and our Braveheart charge was underway.

On a cold summer night the sun was shining brightly in the sky. The sounds of bears were given to my ears in the breeze as it came through the forest trees. Wolfs could be seen in the tree line hunting their pray. Feeling the rugged rocks that you tread on. Fresh air smells like pine scents with a glowing spray of a river. There was a spiritual being present that made my heart quicken and my body became still. HE came to show the way for HE is the truth, the way, and the life for through HIM we well shall see the face of GOD. I nod my head and jumped into the driver side of my truck, I pulled into the front of the store. I killed the engine,he came out of the store with a backpack. When he left us with all the information, he told me he applied to a local college. He has not told me what he was going to college for yet, I was assigned to keep to keep him safe when his father was on trial. During the week we talked and learned a lot about each other, he told me his father was never supportive about his dreams.

Suddenly we hear footsteps in our room, we glance to see who this person was he then noticed us under the bed he grabs me and my brother and ties a bag on our face and takes us to his car

Some of the biggest stars in history came from a rags to riches life. Some even being in the rags for the majority of their life and then towards the end finally came up to prosper. I think that anyone at any age can do anything they want as long as they have enough will and determination, and maybe even with a little help. My hero story follows my dad who follows this rags to riches lifestyle. Although he isn’t the next Jay Z, flashing off the big gold watches, rings, and necklaces, and married to miss Queen Bee herself, Beyoncé. My dad still came from next to nothing and now is one of the most successful people I know.
