My philosophy of Early childhood education is based on research that indicates that a child’s growth is developmental. Every child is unique in terms of life experiences, developmental readiness, and cultural heritage. A high quality early childhood program that provides a safe and nurturing environment, which promotes physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development will ensure a positive continuation of the child’s education process

I remember my favorite teacher vividly even though I sat in her class many years ago. I have so many fond memories of her and took so much from her class. I can only dream of touching a child’s life in the way my favorite teacher touched mine. For just one student to think of me in the same way would make all the years of hard work worth the effort. I also want my students achieve many accomplishments. I want them to use and remember what they have learned in my class. I also want them to have a broad spectrum of knowledge. I want each student to do their best and go as far as they can. I want them to feel a sense of accomplishment and be proud of themselves. I want to be the teacher who is encouraging, supportive, and pushes her students to be their best.
I hope that when I am a teacher that the kids will learn from me that learning can be fun and not a task. That there is so much to learn about that you should never be bored with learning. If they leave my class room knowing about that and the curriculum needed to succeed in my particular grade and subject. Than I accomplished everything that I wanted to.
Public education is the most important form of education. It provides people with the common ability of social skills. Which can not be replaced with home school. Home school does not provide the amount of people and the situations that are presented to you at a public school. Some would argue that private school is better
Education has been an important part of my life since a very young age. Growing up I have always strived to do my best in school. In my sophomore year of high school I realized how important education was to me and decided that I wanted to be a teacher. From Elementary School to College I have always been close with my teachers and professors. I still visit and talk too many of them today, this made me realize that I wanted to be that teacher for my future students.

A high quality early childhood program that provides a safe and nurturing environment, which promotes physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development will ensure a positive continuation of the child’s education process. The National Association for the Education of Young Children states that high quality, developmentally appropriate programs should be available for all children. Bredekamp, S., and T. Early childhood educators teach students within pre-school programs, kindergarten programs and ultimately through the second grade. Educators influence our children in order to become fully prepared for the future generation. It has been stereotyped that these educators may teach simple topics; however, these particular concepts are the fundamentals toward a child’s emotional and academic growth. The use of social skills within a classroom environment potentially results in not only the students’ academic state; however, the child’s emotional well being as well. I was interested in this topic because I will be pursuing a career in early childhood education. I believe that implementing lessons involving social-emotional development skills
I believe that all students should be given the opportunity to excel to their greatest possible potential. I also feel that there is no one hundred percent correct philosophy on education. However I do agree with many of the ideas of the six primary philosophical views. The child as and individual is the basis of my teaching philosophy. This is I feel, that each child has specific needs that need to be dealt with in a specific manner. The teacher needs to look at each child individually to decide how what is the best way to reach that child this is why my particular philosophy incorporates a variety of ideas from others such
ensure that the program interconnects the richness of indigenous and the outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework. focusing on relationship with family community and nature helps children to be connected with and to contribute to their world.
I believe that life is all about gaining knowledge and sharing what we have learned with others. I feel that education is a lifelong process and the building blocks of learning are developed in the early stages of life. The early years of preschooler are one of the first places that the building blocks of learning are established for Early Childhood Education should provide the academic, social, and emotional basics to children. A good education entails a teacher giving well-planned lessons that contain evaluations. I believe a teacher should be well skilled and knowledgeable about assessments. The teacher must be competent in using the obtained data from the assessment to improve their teaching so that student can grasp all the necessary concepts.
I choose to complete my observation on a three year old boy. His name is Brayden and he was born 01/12/12. He is on the younger side of this observation. The observation was completed at his home and in his yard. Some of the objects we used where a ball, cups, a bowl, water, M&M candies, crayons, coloring books and play-doh.
An educator’s goal is to enhance the upbringing of the child. To me, a caregiver is a co-parent to that child as we help to educate, shape morals, and enhance development. I make it a duty to build a relationship with parents. I look at each parent, not only as the caregiver to the child but as their own person. I seek to learn their religion, culture, social atmosphere and delve into some of their ideologies. I make it a duty to ask each parent about their day, weekends or what their future plans are. I use these insights into the different families to aid the development of all the children in my class. They do not all share the same culture, religion, social class or environment, so the class gets to see a look into their peers through my eyes.
This essay is my personal philosophy statement on early childhood education which represent my views on what should be done in the early childhood sector these include ;to impart fine morals and ideals in the children that I come into contact with, esteem each child and the families culture, beliefs, and race, make sure that the treatment I give to each child is fair to ensure that in each child the feeling of equality is developed, I will also have the community work with the families of the children and the educationists as a team, be a constant advocator of the kids, maintain an environment full of fun, interesting and still
I hope that one day I can be the role model and great teachers they were for me for another student. I believe that being an elementary teacher is one of the greatest jobs you can do. You are giving children the building blocks of knowledge that they will use through out their lives and academic careers. I do not want to just teach children the basics of math or spelling though I want to teach them life lessons that they will carry with them forever. While there are thousands of teachers around the world a good teacher will teach children to love learning and I hoe that is what I am able to do as a
If I have not made a difference, then what have I made in a child’s life? Daily I found myself pondering this question in my career, but most importantly in my pursuit of life. In my personal experience, I have found that during the infant and toddler stage, they are not challenged enough to investigate or think on their own. Once the child has reached school age he/she is looking to be told the answer then regurgitate it from memorization instead of comprehending and analyzing the concept on their own. Is this truly the goal we would like to have for our children future? I certainly hope not. My philosophy is that education is a tool used to help children think, create ideas, and become a unique individual. I feel that teacher should represent more questions in order to yield greater
beyond, variation in development that may occur, and how best way to support children’s learning and development during these years.
I believe as an early childhood educator, I am responsible for providing a positive and enlighten learning experience for young children. I see education as a lifelong practice that we are continuously developing, and improving upon. I feel that early childhood education is one of the most important aspects of a child’s educational journey because it gives children the fundamentals of learning. Fundamentals to me are just like the foundation of a house if not fully secure, how can we expect to build upon it? The important fundamentals children learn in Early Childhood are not just academics, though they’re essential. Children learn and develop social skills and how to properly express their emotions. In Early Childhood we address the physical aspects of the child through large and gross motor activities. In my classroom I focus on making sure my students have a strong foundation before they move on to the next step in their educational journey.
“Children from underserved communities who attended preschool showed more cognitive improvement than their peers without preschool”(). This quote is talking about how young children that do not go to preschool and only to kindergarten, fall behind in their academics because they do not know the basics. The basics that children should be able to recognize are letters, sounds, and numbers. In addition, children usually have not developed fine motor skills, which is the strength in their fingers, hands, and wrist. Fine motor skills are important for the child because it helps the child know how to hold a pencil and how to put force when learning how to write. The children that do not go to preschool usually do not know how to socialize with others or know how to regulate their emotions. All theses skills are necessary for the child to succeed in school and not fall behind. Early childhood education has a dramatic impact by affecting their cognitive, social, and emotional development; therefore, parents should be able to take their children to any schools at 3 years old or older for free.
Learning starts the moment a child enters the world. My desire is to teach grades K - 6 so that I can help in the process of molding their creative minds. First impressions are usually lasting impressions and in educating students, I want to be the person who left a precious gift of education values and skills that will give a student the motivation to continue to grow and learn. I want to nourish their little minds and help them to see that learning is not a chore but an awesome and fun experience. Love, caring, compassion and empathy are some of my strengths in teaching. My biggest strength is the willingness to step out of the box and find different and healthy learning tools and teaching methods that will eventually cause a 100-watt light bulb to come on inside a creative mind causing the learner to say, “hey I got it” and the journey to that moment of enlightenment was enjoyable. Each morning, welcome each students into the classroom and make them feel wanted and at the end of the day make them excited about tomorrow and give them a reason to want to come to school the next day by highlighting on some of the fun learning skills they will be embracing in
