My Reflection Of Educational Philosophy: My Personal Philosophy Of Education

Education is a very important aspect of our lives. It is our education that makes us who we are and determines what we become. Therefore, education is not something to be taken lightly. As a teacher, my goal will be to provide the best possible education for my students. Every student is unique. I must see students for who they are individually and respect their ideas and opinions. Each student has a different learning style. I must take this into consideration because I want to provide a constructive learning opportunity for every student. I believe that every student has the potential to learn.

Currently, I am responsible for managing the science instructional programs and personnel in a chartered middle school. As a supervisor for the department, I develop/source curriculum materials for teachers and collaborate with them to plan and implement instructional lessons daily. I manage the financial resources for the department and constantly monitor the teaching practices that will impact our organizational goal and vision.

My philosophy of education is that all children have a right to learn and to grow mentally. Each student’s needs should be met and not used against them. I believe all teachers should strive to make a long-lasting impression on each student. I do not want my students growing up and feeling that they didn’t have a single teacher help lead them in the right direction. It is important for me that my classes all include every student and that we all respect each other. Establishing good classroom management is beneficial for both the teacher and the students.

Remember: everyone in the classroom has a story that leads to misbehavior or defiance. 9 times out of 10, the story behind the misbehavior won’t make you angry. It will break your heart.

Every student has the right to learn and succeed, to expect a fair treatment and be respected. I believe education must help students develop physically, intellectually, socially, and morally. I believe we as teachers should only guide and help students though the learning process. Learning takes place in many different circumstances and contexts. Although everyone is capable of learning, a student's desire to learn is a vital pre-condition to effectively mastering new concepts and skills. Accommodating different learning styles creates an atmosphere that is conducive to learning because not all students learn in the same way. It is important for a teacher to develop a consistent, fair, and inviting environment for all their students.

My approach to teaching leans toward the essentialism. The student is there to learn what they need to know so they can become self-reliant adults. I want to be a teacher who under stands that all students have the capacity to learn. I have children of my own and though they are very different from each other as two children can be, they still love to learn what is being taught. They may learn it in different ways but they still

Every school teacher has their own set of related beliefs--a philosophy of education--that influences what and how students are taught. A philosophy of education represents answers to questions about the purpose of schooling, a teacher's role, and what should be taught and by what methods. I truly believe that every student can learn when given the right tools to do so. There is much more to it than just giving them the opportunity. Students need to be given an environment where they are free to express themselves and be themselves. Education is a key element that directs one's life to success. By having knowledge one holds the power to make goals a reality. Teachers are responsible to help goals, such as, learning to read become a reality. There are all different kinds of students and each of them deserve the chance at a fulfilling education that improves their self - esteem and self - efficiency in the world. Every child deserves a teacher that is fair and understanding of the different ability levels of each student in their classroom. This is my philosophy of education. In preparing to become a teacher who truly tries to understand the vast differences between children, I want to address the nature of students, the nature of knowledge, the purposes of public education, the methods of teaching, and the curriculum area that I am studying.

When trying coming up with a personal philosophy of education, I had to ask myself what the purpose of education is. To me, the purpose of education is to teach students knowledge that is needed to make it through school and to succeed in the world after graduation. Anyone can go into teaching, but not every teacher can teach. Teachers go above and beyond to introduce methods, philosophies, and strategies to help their students learn, as well as, retain the information.

From the very beginning of my life I recognized the importance of higher education. I am 34 years old. I am Egyptian. I was born in a highly educated family . My father earned a Ph.D. in chemistry. My uncle earned a Ph.D. in Engineering . My aunt is a doctor. My grandparents were highly educated and they were great leaders in the educational field. This shaped my personality and made me aware of how higher education is important for my future career.

My philosophy of education is for every student to reach his or her full potential. This is by inspiring all students and helping them realize how much they can achieve. I believe every student can become a great person with the right motivation and support by parents, friends and a teacher.

Education is a tool that helps you understand why things arise by applying knowledge, beliefs and narratives. Students study how to express themselves and develop their intellectual capacity. The aim of the education is to develop the human personality in respect to the Democrats principles of coexistence. It is in the school where we learn the system of decisions by direct or indirect vote, therefore we know a Democrat system. In my experience, teachers like to see the positive effects they can make on the students but at the time of retirement they crave the feeling of educating and the possibilities of continuing to educate. In the book "The Heart Is the teacher", the author begins by recounting his last day as teacher and principal at Benjamin Franklin High School. This moves him too much to think he won't come back. Teachers are role models and important figures for students because they are the ones who guide our way of thinking.

As a future teacher in today’s society and generation, I believe the educational system must accommodate the individual and the diverse needs of each child. Many factors should be thought about when forming a philosophy on education. Factors as far as the increase of single parent families and dual careers, the family structure is changing and this may play a significant part in our students. Furthermore, the issues such as teen pregnancy and drugs and much more, children are facing more complicated issues than they ever had before. A sound philosophy on education must be developed within the framework of social value systems. Our children are our future resources. All children can be guided to become well adjusted, functional and intelligent adults for their own benefit and the benefit for others in society. An educator should motivate and stimulate each child to perform to the best of their ability. Regardless of the various experiences, abilities and needs of the child.
