Since joining Ecotek, I have been opened to many opportunities tying back to my career interest in mechanical engineering.
I remember myself as a bright student throughout my schooling. I was well versed in both academic and extracurricular, especially in sports. My engineering was a bit of a different story. Over the four years of engineering, I learned subjects related to Power Systems, Electronics, Analog and Electronic Instrumentation, Microcontroller and Microprocessor, Control Systems, Electrical Machines. Etc. Laboratory sessions of these subjects helped me to accumulate consciousness of practical usage of electrical engineering. It gave me the opportunity to correlate theory to practical phenomena. This, in turn, gave me a better understanding of the subject and newer lines of thinking. The course in Electrical Engineering covered a wide panorama of subjects. I learned to program in C and MATLAB which were extremely helpful in my practical works. My ideas and knowledge of electrical engineering were first tested in the third year of engineering in the power electronics based project of ‘Pulse triggering circuit for triggering of SCR’. Besides that, I was always exposed to co-curricular activities like vocational training at transmission
Zeal for technical advancement in the field of science and technology always fascinated and motivated me to opt for engineering. To meet the best possible grades in my career, I expect to continue my knowledge hunt in an esteemed university which enhances the growth of my interest. The challenges of developing new and better materials to meet demanding needs, keeps a material science engineer at the cutting edge of technology. Mechanical engineering by itself has many subjects in the course module and if I wanted an in depth understanding of particular subject, Masters become an obvious necessity.A Masters degree would allow me to delve deeper into the individual aspects of Material Science by studying them in greater detail and also to gain
“The first and simplest emotion we discover in the human mind is curiosity”. And this aptly applies to my childhood too. It made me question every other thing I come in contact with. In addition, this inquisitiveness helped me garner in-depth knowledge about subjects in school. I was more inclined towards practical or hands-on experience rather than mere classroom learning. My interest in logically oriented subjects like maths, statistics and science propelled me to take up science as a major in college. I was of the belief that if you want to excel in a particular field, you need have to practical experience for better understanding of the pros and cons of that filed. This attitude not only contributed to my high grades in schooling and college, but also helped me gain a stronghold over the concepts of applied sciences.
The first step towards achieving this vision was to acquire commendable credentials at the Higher Secondary level. My propensity for mathematics and the physical sciences supplemented by my unstinting hard work propelled me through high school with an exemplary record, allowing me to gain entry into Sri Krishna College of engineering and
Engineering, when I think about it or hear about it, the first thing that flashes in my mind is that preparing toy cars with bottle caps and cardboard. From childhood my thoughts, imaginations was about creating a toy or a thing from scrap. When, I was in my school I read a magazine about cars which created a zeal in me to know more about automobile and I started a bit of research about it. Encouraged and inspired by all those fascinating models that came forth from my own dexterity, eventually I decided to pursue a career in Mechanical engineering. Alongside from routine curriculum, daily I seek to learn a part or working of a part in an engine. This made to take a masters course in Automotive Engineering.
Later in my plus two I had opted a stream which has its majors in Mathematics and Physics. Fortunately I got to know that these are the two subjects which are majorly required to be a good engineer. I strove hard to get a good command over the basics underlying these subjects and secured with good percentage. All these activities used as a driving force for me to take up mechanical engineering for my under graduation with an intense urge to delve into the challenging

I have literally known what I want to be since I was a toddler. Of course, as a three-year old putting together Legos, I could not have verbalized that I want to be a mechanical engineer. However, it was at that time that I began to develop and use the skills that I will need for my desired career. I began to consider how parts went together and the different components necessary to build and sustain various systems. Part of the inspiration was the simple fun that I had while putting together these small toys, but part of my inspiration was my father. He was a maintenance turn-around coordinator at an oil refinery, which led to my own desire to work as a mechanical engineer in a refinery one day. As I grew older, my interest in mechanical engineering remained constant, though I expanded my interest beyond the oil refineries. In fact, after attending a pre-college program, Jackling Introduction to Engineering, offered by Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri in the summer of 2011, I realized that engineering was the perfect way to exercise my curiosity and inventiveness in a constructive and productive manner.
In conclusion, I have always wanted to study Mechanical Engineering for its great job opportunities, my family recommendation, school encouragement, and personal experience.
