Personal Narrative: Summer In High School

Oh, don’t you just love summer. Cool breezes, days on the beach, and injuries, or at least in my family. In the Bundy household it always seems that we get injured when the days are nice and long. In fact this same summer I got hit in the face with a D battery, hit in the face with a metal baseball bat and flew off a teeter totter and had to get stitches. The difference? I had these ones coming and my sister really didn't. You know those days when you get bored and then do random things for no reason at all, well this was one of those days. I was 4 at the time not even in school yet, My sister Brilee, had just got into first grade. We had devised the most awesome game ever, it might not have a name but it was still awesome. The basic concept was to jump down off of this little pool thing, we called a tuggy boat, and grab a vanilla wafer, eat it and repeat until out of food. Then it’s like the floodgates of the Hoover Dam opened up. All you can hear is her crying and bawling her eyes out. Then Brilee runs into the house grasping her right arm. At this point I thought basically thought that I had to be in some serious trouble, so I ran in after her. When I get into the house I see that Brilee’s sitting on the table with the rest of my family around her. My two brothers are trying to comfort her. Then my Dad puts pressure on her right arm. She screams bloody murder! My mom tells me to go down stairs to get her an ice cream sandwich, which in my family were to calm us down when me got hurt or had to get a splinter out. So I run downstairs grab one and bring it back up Brilee. Then Brilee, and my Parents just left and I really didn't know what was happening at the time but looking back it was pretty obvious they were going to
