I believe i should be in National Junior honor society because i work hard to keep my grades up, I take responsibility for my actions, I join in on school events like the dances and make sure i'm polite to my peers. I show leadership when the teacher leaves the room and i decide not to mess around, listening to the teacher in class and showing up to school with a positive attitude. When i show up to school with a positive attitude i smile say good morning and i’m ready to learn. I was selected to be part of a group of people who show new students around and, not too long ago showed a new girl around, who i am now friends with. I am always happy to help my teachers by bringing papers to the offices, wiping down the white board or passing
National Honor Society describes the person I aspire to be. A person with character, leadership skills, and an honest person. I would love to be a part of a club that brings out the best within me. I do believe I have some of the qualities that are appropriate and needed to be in this club. I've always tried to help the people in my community and also around me whenever help is needed. I think that I would be able to help out others, just like the people who are in National Honor Society. I would like to be a member of the Lenoir City High School National Honor Society because I like what the club means and its purpose. Doing different projects and being able to help people would be really amazing. I would like to do things for others without
I really think that I am very qualified for National Junior Honor Society. I have seen students of NJHS making things for the community and I always join or support them because I think that helping others is a need, not an option. I like helping people, I like taking leadership and I would like to encourage others to change the world, that’s why I think that I am eligible for NJHS.
National Honor Society is a huge honor to be on and there are many reasons why I think I should be picked. First off, I have always done my best in school and my grades are very important in my family. My mom is from a small town that has very low income and, my parents have always done their best to give me everything that they can. I try to keep my grades high to show them how much I appreciate them. My future is everything to me and I want to do my best at everything. An example on how my future means so much to me is that this semester I am taking 2 college classes along with my regular Junior classes. I have been in band since 5th grade and I love it so much. I feel like playing an instrument has made me a better person. Also, I am in
It is an honor to be considered for membership for the National Honor Society. The service that I have done throughout my high school career will benefit me later in life. If I get accepted I will do more service with the school, classmates, and community. So far, I have joined Band and am part of the News Crew.
I believe that I would be a good member of National Honor Society because I am an involved student here at SHS and in my community. Whenever there is a school event that needs planning, setup, or cleanup, I am bound to be there. Ask anyone and they will tell you that I am one of the most spirited and positive students at this school.
I think I should be in the Junior Honor Society. I have met the requirements to receive this opportunity. I would not let this opportunity to waste. I care for the community and do what ever service to help it out. I help do services for the library when they need it. For example on March 10,2017, I helped make capes for sick kids and then gave them happy birthday cards for the birthday kids. I help out my community by helping people shovel their driveway. Like some of my neighbors can't do it so I ask if I can do it for them for free. I look out for people to make sure they are ok. I am a captain of a football team because of my great leadership skills that can be useful. I put effort and time into my work. Around the house I am a role model
I would like to be a member of the National Honor Society because throughout my high school career, I have strived to be a conscientious student, and achieve as much as possible academically. Since my freshman year, I have raised my grade point average to a 96% and joined five clubs. I received the United States Achievement Academy Award for my academic achievement, and I have been appointed co-captain of the fencing team. I plan to continue to improve academically, and in the extra curricular activities I participate in.
The National Junior Honor society, to me, represents the highest honor someone can achieve while in Middle School. Being accepted into such a prestigious society would not only give me an environment where I can improve my character, but it will also give me an experience which will help me gain a leadership position in the future. My intentions while in this society are to gain knowledge on what I can do to better my household as well as my community as a whole. While in this society I will work diligently to make positive changes to my community and school.
I believe I would be a valuable member of the National Junior Honor Society because I meet many of the four pillars, scholarship, service, leadership, and character, which NJHS represents. I partake in many after extra-curricular activities such as, rec soccer, rec cheer leading, TAG, the middle school musical, district band, after school volunteering, and in the student government; service. For leadership I am in the student government for my class. My grades have never been lower than honors, and the previous marking period and this marking period I have retained high honors. I believe that I am a well-rounded person and very encouraging and helpful
I, Steven Tellez, feel that I am a good candidate to serve in National Honor Society because I've experienced what it is to be part of the National Honor Society. In middle school I served in National Junior Society for two years and we participated in many events that helped towards the community and in my serving I helped induct new members into the program by lighting the candle to one of the four main attributes of National Honor Society. One thing I loved to do in N.J.H.S was help with the surrounding community when we got the chance. And in my everyday life I still help with my community and neighborhood such as feeding a stray dog on the street or help rebuild a playground that needs repairs or a cleanup. The joy of helping other people
I am interested in becoming a member of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) because it will help boost my leadership and social skills, character, citizenship, and help me to become a better scholar. These skills are important because they will help me learn to listen to other people’s ideas and share ideas with others. Also, NJHS will help me learn to lead and take charge, help my community, and maintain a good GPA to get into a great college. I am also interested in being a member of National Junior Honor Society because my sister was in it when she was in middle school and they did multiple interesting and productive projects, activities, and field trips.
I believe I should be chosen for membership into the National Honor Society for many reasons. First, I try my hardest in school and take my academics very seriously. I spend a lot of time on homework because I like to go over and make sure I understand the subject in depth. When signing up for classes, I try to pick classes that will challenge me and also classes that I think may help me in the future with my career. Before tests, I study extra on that subject so I am prepared for whatever we are tested on. There are certain subjects I struggle with more than others, so I just spend more time on learning that subject. Overall, I enjoy academics because it pushes me to do my best.
I believe that National Junior Honors Society can use an excellent student such as myself. Many of my teachers say that I am a hard worker with an amazing attitude. In sixth grade I attended Cambridge Academy and was elected President of my school, even though it was my first year there. I encouraged classmates by competing with them to see who gets the better grade. During my time of presidency I read the morning announcements. At assemblies I led the pledge of allegiance. Student council and I volunteered at the United Food Bank and helped sort food. Finally, I helped organize school activities and dances. I enjoy playing most sports. During sport activities I am often elected captain. Last year I was on the football team and even if we
I believe that I should be accepted into the National Honor Society because I embody all four principles. Although I’ve never held a leadership position, I have demonstrated my ability as a leader in both clubs and on sports teams. I have great character; I have never caused issues inside or outside of school, and I am honest. I have kept a high GPA throughout my high school career and place heavy emphasis on academics. Lastly, I have gathered several volunteer hours and have happily contributed to helping my community.
I have always had an interest in improving the community around us, and would like to be involved in this role by helping out in the community. By joining NHS, I aspire to enhance some of my skills, such as ambition, collaboration, and leadership. I hope to increase my initiative to provide service in the community and to take chances out of my comfort zone. By helping out in the community more with service projects I hope to improve my collaborative, management and people skills. In addition, I hope to improve my leadership skills through public service projects. These projects will not only give me more experience with leadership, but they will also motivate me to help my community and my peers with their endeavors. I believe that joining the National Honor Society at River Hill will teach me essential skills for my future, and improve my community.
