Motivation of method
It is of great importance to make an analysis of the environment in which an organisation operates in order to develop and implement a suitable, successful strategy for the company. According to Johnson, Scholes and Whittington (2008) the business environment of a company is an important issue determining its survival and success. There are several layers of this business environment – the macro environment, the industry or sector layer, the layer with competitors and markets.

Further more, the Eden Project is positioned in Cornwall, South West England. Cornwall is one of the poorest areas in England with the lowest per capital contribution to the national economy. (Conrwall) The operating of the Eden Project will be influenced by this fact because the people from Cornwall will both, not visit the Eden Project, or spend less money at the Eden Project. Related to this influence is also the high entrance fee of Eden compared to other visitors’ attractions. (Thisisdeveon, 2010) While the population of this area has already less money to spend, high entrance fee will not contribute to attract more visitors and stay profitable and sustainable in the long term.
Another economical factor which is able to influence the operational activities of the Eden Project is the unemployment rates in England. The unemployment rates in England are increasing. A survey conducted by Recruitment and Employment Confederation suggest a continued weakening in the UK jobs market. (Bbc.co.uk., 2010)

In this document I am going to be looking at the possible impacts that two factors have on the UK in terms of Inbound and domestic tourists and how this possess possible problems in the future and therefore help to predict possible outcomes in terms of tourism numbers and offer ways in which I think that the UK can overcome this and therefore maintain their inbound visitors numbers and increase domestic travel within the UK. The two factors that I am going to be looking at include health and the weather.

The business environment of an organization reveals much about its competitiveness and the possible influences on the success of its strategies. The focus of this paper will be an environmental scan of the internal and external environments of two real-world firms, their competitive advantages and company strategies for creating value and sustaining competitiveness, measurement guidelines for verifying strategic effectiveness and their evaluation.
Britain has been over the news due to the British exit the European Union, which this event is known as Brexit (Hunt, 2016). This decision brought a large impact on every country in Britain, but the Britain has not started negotiate with European Union about adapting regulations to minimize their negative consequences. Before people can list potential impacts of Brexit on Britain’s tourism, it is important for people to understand how well the Britain was doing in the tourism industry. In addition, it is important to analyze and understand what type of tourism impacts on Britain. So, people would know how Brexit will change its policy and what impacts will bring to their current life. It will provide an idea of how the changes of regulations will impact different countries and the region. Thus, it provides an understanding of how tourism helps to develop the Britain in terms of environmental impacts, socio-cultural impacts, and economic impacts.
Identifying influencing factors of a company’s macro-environment helps in the strategic development and management within a company. The macro-environment outlines an industry and the competitive environment as seen in figure 3.1, (Gamble, Peteraf, Thompson, 39). Within the macro-environment there are the political factors, economic conditions, sociocultural forces, technological factors, environment forces, and legal/regulatory factors. All of these factors blanket the habitat an industry and its competition thrive in. Inside the industry and competitive environment there are five factors that influence an individual company. The five factors are suppliers, rival firms, new entrants, buyers, and substitute products. The biggest impact on a company are these five factors. For example, Under Armour focuses on their industry and competitive environment to survive and grow. Their strategy to win over the market share from Nike and Adidas consists of expanding a stable and original brand within record time, taking an innovative approach to their product line-up and brand-name appeal where the market seemed to be barren, and lastly, the company enters in the foreign market early on to establish its brand and influence markets outside of the US.

PESTLE is analysis is used to track the environment they are operating in or planning to launch. PESTLE stands for political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental. The political factors are how much the government are involved in the economy. This can be government policy or political stability/instability and many more. Other political factors are minimum wage and living wage increasing. When this is increasing Rimmel have to pay all of their staff more money to match the minimum wage. By removing benefits people who usually get them will find it hard to buy certain things if they are in a single family as they will only have one income.
The market environment consists of both the macro environment and the micro environment. On macro environment the firm need to follow it and they can’t to control it. It consist variety of external factors that is economic, social, political, legal and technological. In the macro environment the firm should analyze national political issues, culture and climate, key macroeconomic conditions, health and indicators (such as economic growth, inflation, unemployment, etc.), social trends/attitudes, and the nature of technology's impact on its society and the business processes within the society. The microenvironment refers to the internal environment of the company such as consumer/customer, Supplier, competitors, the media (public) and in

PESTEL analysis is a method used to study macroeconomics - the macroeconomic environment of an enterprise. Otherwise, it is called the general segmentation of the environment. It defines the basic spheres of the environment, which are areas that have a crucial impact on the functioning of the organization. Also marks the future strategy of the organization through an in-depth analysis.
In today's world, no business operates in isolation without interacting with the environment where it operates. Irrespective of the nature of business whether public or private organization; manufacturing; service industry; local or international firm, its operations are inhibited by the environment in which it operates.
