This paper will report over caregiving for older adults, alternative placement options, personal statements from a caregiver and resources on caregiving for older adults. My report will focus on family caregivers and those providing care for older adults.

A home health aid generally has a very positive affect on the people that they work for on a regular basis. Many on the staff have several years of experience working with the sick, disabled, and elderly patients in their homes. Of course, some of the staff is involved with short term care. However, there are others that are very experienced with long term care of the patient. They bring experience, compassion, and understanding to their job and those that are under their care. They are very skilled people that are licensed and certified to work in the client's home.
