Greetings class, Currently working towards completing my bachelor’s degree for self-fulfillment purposes and just in-case I was to explore employment opportunities outside of my current career. I am working full time as a manager in information systems technology and biomedical engineering at a large health system in CT. The daily challenges of re-engineering clinical technology solutions for the greater good of patient safety keeps me motivated and inspired. I’ve been completing classes on and off for some time and have finally matriculated (yay!!!) and determined to complete my first bachelors and eventually move onto my masters at a much more enjoyable pace. Also have a very supportive family and a beautiful 13 year old boy that I hope to

I am a Respiratory Therapist completing my Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. I recently graduated in May with my Associates in Respiratory Care and passed both of my National Boards. I will be working at Mizzou's University Hospital in Columbia, MO starting June 12th, 2017. My end goal is to be able to be a Critical Care Flight Respiratory Therapist and then become a professor for a Respiratory Care program after gaining years of experience.
I understand having these goals without a plan makes them nothing but a wish. Therefore, upon graduation this May, I anticipate spending the summer pursuing my EMT Certification. This will broaden my medical knowledge base and allow me an opportunity to work within the medical field while pursuing my Associates of Science in Nursing, and ultimately receiving my “DNP” from UAM.
The advent of the Electronic Health Record is ushering in a new era in advanced healthcare. The next 20 years will be an exciting time to be involved in health care as a Health Information Manager. Analyzing the myriad of health information which could reveal astonishing medical breakthroughs excites my imagination. I see the perfect pathway for my future. I am on track to graduate with Honors from Portland Community College’s Health Information Management Program in June 2016.
In the moment, I am progressing towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree. I am almost done with my associates degree. I hope to be in a career within the next ten years.
I will strive hard and put my best efforts to excel in my profession not only academically, but also at work or when I am providing services to patients. I will be productive and always take my responsibilities attentively. According to me, my pride in my profession starts at my institution (LIU). For example, if I notice one of my classmates posting offensive status on social media related to the profession or about LIU, I will take a step forward to explain him/her that their activity is against professionalism. I will be an active learner. I will dress professionally and on the day of my clinical rotation, I will ensure that I am dressed properly. I will try to be adaptive as much as possible in my work front. I will deal with patients
It was the movie “Super Size Me” that had ignited my passion for dietetics when I was in high school. However, I simultaneously heard comments about how insecure and tedious it is to be a dietician. Struggling between the choice of security and interest, I choose the United States to be the dream place for my future study.
What motivated me to apply again for staff was the urge to help players again, I missed every minute of being a staff member and I hate myself for resigning. When I resigned I thought it was a good decision at the time, now I realized that it was a mistake and I should've never done it. I feel that now I have time to put myself fully back into Mineplex I can help players again like I used to. So many people have asked me day in and day out, Why did you resign?" I ask myself that question everyday. I missed it so much that I really want to get back into it. I am motivated to start helping people above all else. I want to help the Mineplex community to the best of my ability, to make sure that every player is happy and they are having fun. In
Unfortunately, my family cannot afford to pay for my education,However I plan to continue applying for financial assistance online , work part time, whether it's delivering pizza, helping clean up around the gym,or doing local yard work, also maintain a good academic standards, although I haven't had the best of grades years past, slowly but surely I will get on the right track. It is my hope to receive a sports scholarship playing football and hopefully getting accepted into EIU,within time it would benefit me greatly.

Each time I get a new set of classes I work hard at first and don’t talk to anyone. I do good for a little then I get tired of it I don’t have any motivation to continue pushing and I get lazy and stop caring and that needs to change. At the end I have to bust my butt to finish and it’s not worth it. I need to just stay consistent and do what I need to.
My painfully shy personality has always tended to be a burden. It has held me back from completing the simplest of tasks such as speaking out in class, sharing my own thoughts and it has even held me back from getting what I want. The reason for this was that I believed it was simpler to just say “I don't know” than to be scrutinized or judged for my beliefs. Consistently being held back by my modest character restrained me from having my own voice and that is something that took a while for me to realize.
Every person has something they’re passionate about — something that they love. Throughout my life, music and fashion have always been there. Music is something that I have grown up with. In my home there’s rarely a moment of silence — always a radio playing or someone singing. Music speaks to many emotionally, inducing sorrow, anger, sympathy, and a plethora of other emotions. What music accomplishes for most by listening to the words, melodies, and rhythm — fashion does for me by style, color, and texture.
Having a Bachelor’s, in addition to my years of experience, makes me eligible to be promoted to an Operations Manager, or a Director at my current job. I can also be a Billing Manager at a hospital. All of which are careers I am interested in. The final plan in my academic future is to earn my Master’s Degree in Social Work. After completion of my Master’s, I can pursue the career of my dreams, a Hospice Social Worker.
