School Dance Monologue

Ahh elementary, where kids like school and don't have to worry about failing algebra and can live life. Well except for this group of 6th graders at Jackson Elementary. These four kids loved to go out and get themselves into things. Everyday at recess the boys and girls would look out into the woods and just stare at this really nice house out in the middle of nowhere. There has been rumors going around for years and years saying that the house is extremely haunted and 10 years ago two kids were pronounced missing. The cafeteria had always been the noisiest place in Geochang Middle School. Maybe because students were too busy studying and paying attention in class. Maybe because the 5000 square feet of space was the only region in the facility where they could breathe and let out the sparks that had been dimmed inside of them for so long.

I went to go see a dance performance hosted by the Walnut High School Dance Production called “Winter Wishes”. In the performance there were many dances that were featured by advance dance and the dance team of Walnut High School. I saw this performance on November 20, 2015 in the Performing Arts Center of Walnut High School. My friends and I all chose to go to this show because Mrs. Tomlin highly recommended it and it was also the closest one we are able to go to. Others were either too far or at a date one of us couldn’t make and would take away the fun and enjoyment of going to see a dance that we could discuss.

I turned on my flashlight, it was the first thing that came to my mind. As, the bright light flashed its way on, were the “shadow” I saw a couple seconds ago was gone, it must have gone back into the house have to check this out. I decided to go into the “Haunted Mansion”, I walked in and every step I took, the wooden floor made a loud “CREAK!!!” The lights are so dim, that you can’t see anything far away into the darkness, this was literally a maze. I walked until I noticed there was a staircase heading up to this second floor. I took a couple steps towards the stairs then All of sudden, the most creepiest sound in history of sounds filled my ears, it was the sound of tiny footsteps of children running around… I took one step onto the stairs and it made a huge noise. Then the running noise stopped. I listen, my heart stopped……

Dancer #2: As soon as I turned 18 my top concern was to become independent as soon as possible. I really wanted my own independence, never having to ask my parents for money, even though I know they were more than willing to provide me with it.
