It? Violence in school’s has been a uprising problem two shootings have happened in the same month march 2018 one in florida the other in maryland.

Schools were once treated as a haven,but between 10 years, the amount of student shootings has dramatically risen from 43 to 101. Now people think that we need to go back to the barbaric saying of ‘kill or be killed’, but there are more ways to skin a cat - and more ways of controlling this horrid situation.

In the United States, we are experiencing more mass shootings in schools with many kids and adults dying because of ineffective laws and lawmakers stating that “guns protect peoples”, because of this we should protect ourselves with more gun regulations then deadly guns .One of these problem with self defence is that people who arm themselves could accidentally kill a loved one by either not knowing how to fire a gun or mistaken the person for a intruder. Another problem is of having guns around homes, where it can a initiated a conflict between peoples and either factions could say that they were using it for self defense. In contrast, if we have gun control laws there will be fewer mass shootings/deaths and it will make the U.S.

Longs as religion is out of the schools we will have many shootings. It doesn’t have to be all about Christians or Muslims. It should be about prayer and let kids or teacher pray when they can. I remember when I was in school all Muslims would leave for prayer on Fridays and the school would provide the bus service for it. Most of the stories seen in the news today always seem to have something to do with the irresponsible use of firearms or mass shootings in public places. In the past couple of years there has been at least two huge shootings that have ended up with many people dead, others seriously wounded, and families left heartbroken. Activists are wondering how many more innocent lives must be lost in order to revise these gun owning policies. Irresponsible users, such as people with mental or emotional instability, have been able to purchase or have access to guns with ease and have caused tragedies that have left families and communities broken down and defenseless. A series of events involving guns has brought the United states to a realization that they might need to take action before more people get hurt. One event that has occurred among many is the shooting in Parkland Florida. On February 14, 2018 17 year old Nikolas Cruz took an AR-15 assault rifle into his former high school Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School killing 17 and wounding others. This was the deadliest school shooting since 2012 and Sandy Hook Elementary School. The government needs to keep guns out of people's hand that are not qualified or stable enough to own a gun, Also they government needs to create stricter requirements hand and or own a gun, Lastly, the government needs to to this to keep innocent adults and children safe.

School shootings are a big problem in the U.S. right now. There have been about eleven school shootings since the beginning of 2018. Should teachers have a firearm in the classroom at all time to fire at the shooter if they get in the classroom? Teachers should not be able to have a firearm in classroom because one of the children could get the gun and it creates more problems.

In the society we live in today, it is hard to go for a long period of time without hearing of or about a type of disaster which has occurred that could have been prevented. The worst kind of disasters to hear or learn about consist of the disasters in which a school has been involved. With the increasing in security at schools to prevent fatal disasters, many questions have started to rise with concerns about whether or not if the amount of security necessary. In other words, does the amount of security in schools help prevent more disasters, or does the opposition out way the deposition? Imagine randomly getting a call from the police department, saying your child's school has been attacked by a mass shooter, and your child was a victim. Mass shootings happen many times a day, everyday. In the first 336 days of 2015, there were 354 mass shootings taken place in the US. Half of these shootings happened in schools. Since 2013, there has been at least 185 school shootings in America. People live in fear of guns. It’s not right. Everyday, people should feel safe sending their children to school, knowing they will be okay. The point I’m getting at is a serious discussion that has been around for about 2 or 3 years now. Should teachers be allowed to carry concealed weapons with them on campus? Should students be able to do this?

There's been another school shooting. This phrase is one that should never become second nature. Unfortunately, the frequency in which these atrocities are happening are making it a phrase with which many are becoming numb. In my point of view, the random search may not as effective as considered and, to some extent, might cause some problems.

The world is a strange place. People complain about others not taking charge but in reality they do not even make an effort to make change. Instead of caring for “things on which our very existence depends (ch1-3),” people would rather focus on terrorist attacks across the world and events that are eye-catching, not events that are taking place in their own backyards. Every day on television one hears of murders, robberies, and other tragic. When one hears of these tragic events they blink an eye as if they are normal. No one takes the precaution of preventing a break in, a disease, a school shooting, and the list goes on. In 12 of 15 school shootings in the 90’s, the shooters had a history of being bullied (Effects of Bullying). Depression, anxiety, dismal and basic biological needs are a result of bullying. According to 11 Facts About Bullying, over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year and approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day because of bullying. Bullying can lead to self harm, isolation, and loss of interests. The factors that contribute to the behavior of bullies is their home life, the way they think, and external events around them.
