My current capstone project consists the development of an unmanned aerial drone (quadcopter) that will be used for research purposes. Current design and development is taken from an online resource being an instructable from instructable.com. The quadcopter is currently designed using 3D printed parts, shaft arrows, and off the shelf electronics such as motors, electronic speed controller, transceiver, flight controller parts. Current development of the instructable has been already produced using exact instructions and parts. Further development was to experiment with different 3D printed materials such as Kevlar, carbon fiber, and ABS plastic.
