Have the EO staff and CDCs been notified of this event? If not, would you like a rough draft of the electronic invitation today? If yes, when would you like the finalized invitation sent?

The parent calls back and is even more upset because the person you transferred him/her to did not pick up and the parent does not want to leave a voicemail. What do you do in this situation?
Throughout my experience on Panhellenic, Alpha Phi, being an Administrative Assistant at the Department of Student Life, and Leasing Consultant for 22 Exchange Apartments I have had to handle situations just like this. The way I would handle this situation is to first apologize for the inconvenience. I handle emotions very well and begin asking the parent what I can do to make their situation better. As an employee you must always remember that we must serve the customer first and make sure that their needs are met. I will begin to go back over what the problem seems to be and explain that there is nothing I can do to help the situation but go over all the departments and how the one I transferred her to would be the best option. I can explain to him/her that I was in the same position as her daughter in a chapter and the possibility of the individual who I transferred her to could possibly just be out of the office for a moment. I would explain that she should leave a voicemail and I can also take her information down to send a follow up email or phone call to the area I transferred her too. I would give her my name and title ,so if no one gets back to her she can call me again and I will make sure to have someone contact
Families are involved in their children’s learning through many different means. Parents are greeted by the kindergarten teachers at morning drop off and at the end of the day for dismissal and if any information needs to be disclosed or discussed the teachers and parents will take that opportunity to communicate with each other. Communication to families is also done through letters that go home whenever there is important information that needs to be shared. This works successfully for the parents who have nannies or relatives drop off and pick up their children. In this case, when face to face contact is not being made with
When child go through transitions they need people they have built up positive relationships with to help support them through the changes in their lives. We use circle time to explain to the children what is going to happen and they can talk about their feelings children will make a better transition if they know what is going on. We take are cues from the children on how much information is given and how much an explanation is required. We allow time for the information to be processed some children might have delayed reaction and might want to talk later at a quieter time. We are always to be truthful in all our answers so we keep their trust. We listen and acknowledge how the children are feeling and we reassure the children that what they are feeling is normal and other children have been
We must first have an understanding that separation can be hard for both children and parents and instead of trying to distract them, we need to support their emotional needs first. We also need to allow the child time for them to adjust at their own time. Sometimes this can mean letting a child get attached to a child carer when parents leave. For example, allowing the child to stay near you or letting them sit on your lap.
However, with careful planning this experience can be overcome. The mother can try easing them into a daycare program on a part-time basis. This will allow for the kids to adjust to being away from her for breif periods of time. In doing this the caregiver should never just leave them without re-enforcing the fact that she will return and everything is going to be just fine. The mother can, also explain where you are going and when you will be back. Eventually, she will come to understand that mommy will be back. The third option would be to interact with the class; this will give her time to settle into the class sitting and relax. Once she has established friendships with her classmates, the caregiver leaving is less stressful for both mother and child. Another suggestion is to leave them with a positive attitude, do not let them notice that you are frustrated or upset with leaving them. Children feed off of emotions, so if the mother is nervous or agitated them, they will in turn act out also. At the end of the day engage with them about their time in school. Encourage them to enjoy this time meeting new friends and learning all types of new skills. Children love to impress their parents as much as parents want to witness them thrive, in all area of their formative life. Making this a daily activity gives Candace the time to bond and comprehend that she is becoming independent while still being a mommy’s
We, the Green Life Committee proposes to launch and manage a community garden for the University of Delaware. The idea to create a community garden on campus was introduced based on conversations within students and faculty members. Both the faculty and students expressed concerns about the amount of healthy and fresh foods presented on campus. The intended purpose is to first economically educate students about food production and land use. As well as encouraging student awareness of what they are eating and where it comes from. We want students to become conscientious of sustainable and practical land use.

Today was my first day at Goddard School as a practicum teacher. The day started just like any ordinary school day, with student drop off. During the summer each classroom gets a new class of students, the students coming in for the summer are the same students that the teachers will have during the next school year give or take a few. During drop off parents are to walk their students to their classrooms. At this time Ms. Danielle, Ms. Stephanie and myself all introduced ourselves to the students and their family members. We told them how excited we were for the summer and couldn’t wait to get to know them. After the student is ready and set they are to say goodbye to their parents. At Goddard they call this pushing your parent out. Students
This transition is a very emotional transition. The child may be used to living with both parents and
This can be a hard one. When your child calls complaining about their roommate who left a mess on the bathroom counter, they probably did not call wanting you to drive down to their apartment to chew out their roommate. They may simply be calling to complain and move on.

Working with young children demand a special attention because leaving their parent could be very difficult for them. There, are always a hard time for some children who come the first time in school. I see that at my work some children cry all day long sometimes one or two weeks they still are crying. It is important that a family member can come with the child for a short period to visit the class before starting the first day in which the child can realize that he has not been abandoned. It is also at the beginning of the first few days, family member can stay a few minutes with the child’s classroom for additional reassurance.
