Socialism along with many other ideologies has a vast number of different strands and with a couple of different roads to achieving what is fundamentally socialism. Socialism being the ideology that utilises collectivisation to bring people together and to unite people by their common humanity. The two most obvious roads of socialism would be that of revolutionary socialism and also that of evolutionary socialism. This are taken on by two different types of socialists, revisionist socialists and fundamentalist socialists. Socialism is a political theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. In much lighter terms socialism is where a government owns and runs everything in the country to, in theory, better the nation for the people. To increase the growth and help the economy in America the people need to learn what socialism is, learn why socialism does not benefit America, limit the federal government’s power, and look at statistics of the poor people in America.

Socialism is the underlying motivation behind communist movements in history. Socialists believe that it is unjust for a small amount of people to own the biggest portion of the wealth in society. This idea lead to the concept of a communist society, in which the existence of private property is eliminated in favor of government-owned property being shared among all it’s people. The government would provide jobs and care for all people equally. The idea was that through communism, there would be no social classes, thus eliminating alienation for any of the people in the society.

Throughout Europe, people of all different classes and moralities had different views of socialism and how it should be achieved/expressed throughout time in that area. An economic and political system based on collective or state ownership of the means of production and distribution is known as socialism. It is the economic system used by a government that regulates only certain businesses for the welfare of the citizens. The government normally only regulates housing, education, food, and medical issues. Since that is all the government regulates, private citizens are allowed to own businesses. However, the income of these businesses is controlled thru taxes. The strength of socialism is that the government has more control over businesses and can regulate what happens in them. The weakness is that people interested in owning a business in the area of housing, education, food, or medical issues cannot. All the three economic systems are different in unique ways.

One of the main principles that socialism was built upon, the principle that people should cooperate to improve their society, causes some problems. This was a utopian community that was founded by Robert Owen as an experiment to see if a community could survive based upon utopian ideals. This community failed because it lacked the skills needed in order to thrive. It also failed because it’s cooperation could only go so far. Basically, the government is in control of all business in the country that adopts it as an economic strategy, in our case, The United States of America. Now when we dissect this idea of socialism we find that there are to thought processes behind it. Some truly believe that socialism could truly be the answer to the problems of our nation, both economically and morally. These people try to push socialist policies in hopes of helping the nation and they are doing so with the purest of intentions. The novel Animal Farm by George Orwell was a parallel to the Russian Revolution. The examples of the Russian Revolution in animal farm are the start of it when the stroke of Old Major happens with represents Lenin’s stroke. The murder of Snowball was Trotsky being murdered and forced into exile by Stalin. The dogs represent the secret police that shut down any of the opposition to make Stalin or Napoleon look bad. The last example of the parallel to the Russian Revolution was Napoleon says it's better now than when the farmer Mr. Jones was there, which is a direct parallel to Stalin saying its better without Czar Nicholas.

As mentions before socialism is the doctrine that espouses public ownership or control of a major means of production. It aims to achieve an equitable and efficient distribution of social goods and greater economic planning then exist under capitalism. Although the central concerns of socialism appears to be economic its ramifications extend to the moral, social and political realms, in fact together with nationalism, it is the leading ideological and political movement of the 20th century.

The book Animal Farm is often considered to be based on the Russian revolution. In the book the animals free themselves from the dictatorship of evil farmers. In the beginning of the book the animals are fed up with the farmers and lead a revolt against the them. The end result was that the animals drove the farmers from the lank, freeing the animals to do as they pleased. The revolution was successful, but corruption sets in and by the end of the book, the animals are no better off than when they started. The book Animal Farm can also be compared to the Haitian Revolution. The Haitian Revolution and the revolution in the book Animal Farm are very similar, just with different end results.

Although there are many forms of socialism, it was originally created by two German Philosophers named Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. These two men wanted to solve Europe 's capitalism dispute by creating a system that terminated social classes, as well as allowing workers to be able to control their means of production and receive equal wealth for the products they produced (“Socialism”).

Socialism is built on the basis that the federal government should have complete authority over the majority of a country’s capital. From a socialistic standpoint, capitalism offers many negative impacts to business, such as unemployment. Socialistic ideals work against the financial elite who benefit immensely from those that get little in return for their work. Unlike capitalism, socialism is a set of ideals that fight for the working class, while handing over a large chunk of economic control to the government itself. The role of government under socialism is to essentially work for a better quality of life for its citizens, whether it be through meeting the requirements of production that satisfies everyone, or through better medical aid. The main goal of implementing this economic system is to create a more balanced distribution of wealth among all through citizens and to make many services free to the public through the use of a stronger, more centralized, government. Unlike in a capitalist society where businesses are the ones who decide what good needs to be produced and how much of said good needs to be produced, in a socialist society the government holds authority of what is created within the nation’s borders and it also can control how much of that item is being created at a given time. By implementing socialist policies, many countries have been able to establish universally prepaid healthcare, free college tuition and social welfare programs. Through socialism, the government tries to eliminate the gap between the rich and the wealthy by providing all of its citizens with free access to the goods and services that are needed in society and everyone who contributes to that work is paid the same equal price. Thus, this creates a work force in which you would have people who would be doing their job out of pure care as they would be getting paid the same as everyone else in the workforce. Socialism is the economic system defined by co-ownership and unified organization of all major industries and institution (demands, energy, services and manufacturing), this includes all public medical facilities, education, the media, insurances companies and transportation. Under a capitalist hold, these industries are privately owned generally monopolize the economy and exploited to their fullest extent. Theoretically, socialism seeks to distribute wealth equally among its citizens in a way that the rich don’t take
