Netflix produced a show called Making a Murderer that explains Steven Avery’s life. This show has people thinking on both sides of the spectrum but it is clear he did not have anything to do with either of the cases. He is always found guilty for things he didn’t do. Avery was able to prove the police wrong for sexually assaulting a woman but fell short for the murder of Teresa Halbach. He is not guilty for the murder of Halbach and his defense team is doing everything they can to prove that.

Out of the nine photos Beernsten picked out Steven Avery's, he then was arrested that day.

The case was that Rudolph Holton appealed his conviction for first-degree murder and sentence of death. Facing the challenges of his convictions for first-degree murder and sexual battery assault to a woman. On June 23, 1986, a woman was practically found unclothed it was the body of Katrina Graddy, that was found in a burning vacant house. Leaving everyone in doubt of who could’ve done that to her. In the crime scene they found pieces of her clothing that someone had tied around her neck and around Katrina’s wrist. The scene was so traumatizing that they say that a glass bottle was partially inserted in her intimate parts. Soon law enforcement tested sperm remaining in the victim's body coming to find that the tests were all negative. From the many police men who were studying the case the victim's body, police men questioned Carl Scheck who had been found sleeping his truck parked directly across from the burning house. He told investigators that he had been parked there for about an hour from 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. the night before. He stated that he knew nothing, that he was just waiting for the hitchhiker. On November 11th, 2005, Steven Avery was wrongfully accused and arrested for First-Degree Murder. He was accused of murdering Teresa Halbach, a 25 year old photographer. She was going to take pictures of Avery's car on October 31st, 2005 in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. This was the last time she was seen.

His own admittance to the crime of Teresa is what convicted Dassey. There wasn’t one single bit of forensics to tie him to the murder. When questioned ,”Brendan Dassey admitted in a four-hour confession to raping, killing and dismembering 25-year-old Teresa Halbach with his uncle, Steven Avery”(Abramovitch). Final Exam In the Netflix documentary series “Making a Murderer”, Brendan Dassey and his uncle, Steven Avery, are both tried for the murder of Teresa Halbach. It is said that Steven tied her down, raped her, killed her, then burned her body in a fire in his backyard. Dassey was taken in from school for interrogation and that’s when the case begins. I do not think Brendan Dassey should have been tried for the murder of Teresa Halbach because the interrogation was unfair, Dassey’s IQ is very low, and there’s no evidence convicting Brendan in the case.

When Halbach went missing many close friends of hers began creating search parties to try and find clues to where she might be located or where she was murdered. One day a search party led by her ex-boyfriend and roommate managed to find her green Toyota Rav-4 on the property of Steven Avery along with all of the other scrap cars. When the car was later investigated blood splatter was found in several places of the car and when the blood was tested for Avery’s DNA, test came back

On July 24th 1997 a guy by the name of Rory Ross called the cops to report a murder and fire caused by his friend Richard Raugust. The person who was killed was their friend Joe Tash, by a shotgun at point blank range. Ross told police that he fled the trailer after Tash had been shot and saw Raugust setting the trailer aflame. Raugust denied any involvement in the crime but with Ross testifying against him and two other friends who were involved in Raugust's alibi denying the fact that they were with Raugust throughout the night, he was convicted on March 26th 1998. Mother Teresa to me, was a household name. Growing up as a child and being woken up on an early sunday morning to go hear the word of the lord, brought back memories of simpler times in my life. Times, when my mother or grandmother,or sunday school teacher, spoke of a woman who was generous, kind and compassionate.
