Indeed, the world is covered by 75% water, but most of this water is not suitable for human consumption or use. There were many steps the Rocket Boys had to go through like things such as, finding the right materials to use, learn more math and science equations, and most importantly, they had to learn how to build the rockets. The southwest region of America is rapidly growing and booming, which makes the water crisis become more significant than ever before, because of the mass population heavily relying on the Colorado river and other water resources like groundwater. The topic was relatively easy for me. I chose the topic of how to sling and swathe essentially to have something that even if I blanked on it I could do it in my sleep. That way I could still make the speech fit in the time frame. I could have used an actual scenario that I have run on as an EMT or I could have made sure to researched more on ways to improvise rather than just do what popped into my head as the best way to improvise in the situation that was given. This could be done by reading medical journals and other articles written by people in the emergency medical field to see what they have used in different situations to improvise.
