II. A. I am researching Truck Driving as a career. Truck driving is moving cargo, supplies or product from one place to another. Commercial tractor-trailer drivers have a physically demanding job. Driver will be driving for very long hours and that can be really tiring. When unloading or loading the truck, drivers will be walking and carrying, lifting and moving cargo to and from the truck. I chose this career because I will get to travel around the state or even the country.

Their median annual wage was $40,260. North Dakota, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Wyoming had the highest concentration of truck drivers in 2015.

II. A. There are a number of colleges for obtaining a CDL. RoadMaster, Swift, and 160 driving academy are all colleges where you can get CDLs. Driving a truck can be a great way to make a living without a college degree. Truck driving is one to the most rapid growing occupations. This means that anyone that passes all the requirements is basically guaranteed a job. Some trade schools around western Pennsylvania Community College of Allegheny County, Rosedale Technical Institute, WyoTech, and Universal Technical Institute. Directly right after High School I have decided to go to WCCC for a welding certificate. After that I plan on continuing my education by moving on to a trade school that offers a diesel program.
