Motivation is having a reason or reasons to act/behave in a particular way. It creates “drive” in people whether it is in pursuit of a goal, or the need to complete an activity. It produces enthusiasm and a willingness to achieve in both a work environment and in your personal life. Motivation can be increased and decreased in line with the incentives on offer.

Primary research is used to find the needs of the individuals and to collect new data through survey, interviews with individual carer or group of staff members in their workplace or via telephone, email, message.

Importance of teamwork is that when a team works well together they tend to understand their team members strengths and weaknesses. Strong teamwork can benefit from the team members and I say this because they become more capable at splitting up tasks so that they are accomplished by the members of the team that are more highly qualified. If businesses didn’t have strong teamwork within their business, it could make everything a lot harder for managers of the business to settle certain staff members, whom can fulfil tasks at their incomparable standard.

7B1.What seemed to work for you? I think the best behavior that worked for me was being direct to my objective. Being assertive is a basic communication skill. In these situations, I used my confidence, which means that I voiced myself successfully and stood up for my point of view, while also respecting the rights and beliefs of others. This behavior also helped me boost self-respect and earn others' respect. I think this can help with stress management, especially if you manage to take on too many responsibilities because you have a hard time saying no.

As a new recruit working in a public service you have been asked to investigate the response to emergency service incidents.

Safeguarding is a term which is broader than ‘child protection’ and relates to the action the commission takes to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Every organisation must have policies and guidelines on expected behaviour from staff, this is done when an organisation develops there own policies from the guidelines that they have been provided with. Policies enable people who are using the services to know what is acceptable and unacceptable with their own care.

For this unit we have been looking at communication is all its vast ways. We have been studying the environmental factors and barriers that can occur in health and social care settings. For this task I have been asked to explain those factors that influence communication and interpersonal interactions in health and social care environments and to also look at the negative barriers to communication.

When a business breaches a contract, serious consequences can occur resulting in damages and losses. An expected service or agreement that is not complied with impacts everyone involved. A breach of contract can reduce earnings while also potentially harming future profits. It also puts a company’s value at risk if it cannot satisfy demands for products or meet deadlines. Often, monetary damages result from breach of contract claims. Claims are most often made by party who met its requirements against the party it alleges has not. Damages estimates are made using historical information and projections to support a plaintiff’s claim

Identifying needs Identifying needs is a type of function of research. Identifying needs is when any type of information is collected for research to help people with their needs. This may include if a patient has been referred to a health and social care environment such as hospital, they would usually get a medical history based on the past and current health statues of the patient. This would be beneficial to the doctors as it will help them to make the patient have examinations based on their health condition. Highlighting gaps in provision
