“Seriously Klaus? I was just with you; I was hoping class would be my mini vacation away from you.” Suddenly I hear Klaus laugh and I look up confused. He knows how to laugh? “I’m Elias, Klaus’s younger brother.” “Oh, I’m sorry.” “Don’t worry, everyone makes that mistake.” “No not that, I’m sorry you’re related to Klaus.” “He’s not so bad.” “Lies.” “Okay maybe he is, but that’s all I’m going to say, I value my life.” “Don’t scare me like that.” “Sorry, I hear you lit up with Klaus.” “Yeah, I’ve already started planning my will.” “He can be tough, but he’s a great wizard.” “Tough is an understatement, more like Lucifer's twin brother determined to shatter everyone’s hopes and dreams.” I say with a straight face, Elias tries to hold back his laughter but couldn’t he starts to laugh and then nods in agreement. …show more content…
Professor Shepard walks into the room and immediately starts his lesson. He is showing us a bracelet that can reflect spells and turn them against the wizard who cast it. “Camila, Elias, please come to the front.” Professor Shepard says. We both got to the front and Shepard hands Elias the bracelet and told him to put it on. “Camilla I want you to do a simple defense spell on Elias.” Taking out my wand I pray to myself that it will
It's a Friday afternoon, I plan to go to Great Wolf Lodge in an hour with my church. I see one of my friends so he says to his mom “ Hey, that's my friend” I said “Crap” So I go inside to sign in to go and see my friends just sitting in a corner on a big sofa. We are listening to music and just talking then a green bus comes.
I have lived in only one location my entire life: Edwardsville, Illinois. A peripheral suburb of St. Louis, it stands as the rare oasis of people in a desert of corn, pinned in its own personal bubble. Due to this blend of time and isolation, I developed a natural familiarity with my hometown. But, throughout my childhood, I longed to break free from the confines of the bubble and venture outward. However, this changed last summer, as I walked through Richards Brickyard, our family heirloom, that my great-grandfather, Benjamin Richards, founded over 120 years ago. I felt these childlike sentiments slip away. The bubble that had surrounded me for so long began to vanish, and the picture that it had been obscuring was slowly revealed.
The shore near, the scent of home far, but I clung on. The rough bark of the log chafed against my bare chest, and my hands were weary from holding on. I inhaled, praying that my body can push toward the sand, and I felt my strength bitterly rise for a last stand. I heaved my futile body on the dry sea of sand and quietly allowed the light to dance one last time in the sunset of my existence.
realize that I have to fight, and I have to win. I draw my sword, ice spirals around me, as I summon the shadows inside of me to come out, to power me through. Kai calls out my name, and I waver. Before i have the time to come back to my senses, a wolf blazing with flames knocks me off of my feet. I grab my sword and stab the wolf in it’s heart. As I do this, I feel a pain spreading in my body. Without acknowledging it, I bolt for the other three wolves. I now have two swords in my hand, and throw them at the eyes of the smaller of the three. What’s happening? Why do I feel like i’m destroying.. Myself? The two wolves have fallen, and i’m face to face with the head of the pack, My very own loving mother. I drop the swords, heavy with layers
That was a lot of money, and I didnt want to let Tony down so I got in the car and started to drive. As I drove the road was empty. I had confidence I was not going o get caught. It was a slightly wormer day out witch might have been because the sun was out. I had the windows down and was blaring music just trying to enjoy life when a cop pulls out behind me.
It was just a normal day like any other I was walking down my street and a group of us wanted to go camping, we got all our gear ready and went on, the first night was a little spooky, we were hearing strange sounds in the bushes near our campsite. In the morning we went to go see what was in the bushes nothing but unknown footprints. We were all debating on what the creature was, so the second night came by and then we heard the noise again all but Dave went outside the tents to see what was making that sound, we started shining flashlights until we heard a fast running sound away, all of were spooked out, in the morning we found out that Dave was not in his tent, we all thought he went to the bathroom but for a couple hours he still was not back.(153)
A few years ago, in first grade, I was in what my friends and whoever else was in the class with us call the first grade war. I know it sounds odd, but this happened. In the middle of first grade year almost every girl in first grade was crushing on Dylan.
It's been an interesting year so far, and it looks like it is about to get even more interesting (more about that in a moment). What I wanted to write about in this here journal of mine is a new brand of shoe that I just purchased; they are called Nike running shoes, and I love them. They fit well, are comfortable and seem like they will last quite a while. I just had to have a pair (I think I'm the first one here at school to have them most of the other students have never even heard of them; Neanderthals, I know!). I predict they will be a big hit in the future. Okay, enough about shoes, let's move on to more serious matters, my love life! (just joking journal I have no love life right now). Oh well, I haven't written in here for the past few weeks, I guess I better talk about the events of the month. Let's see, it's October 1962 and a number of events have taken place; some here at the University of Mississippi, some in the United States and some internationally. Many of these events will likely have long-term impact on some very serious matters. Of course, I did not think any event would foreshadow James Meredith being admitted into the University, but, the first Negro being admitted into a higher education institution is an event that has only national implications, while the missile crisis in Cuba, could lead to death to thousands or even hundreds of thousands of citizens in both the United States and in Russia.
I’m running. I can’t scream, my lungs are burning and something is chasing me. I see a light at the end of the dark and gloomy hallway but it keeps getting farther no matter how fast I run. The thing behind me is getting closer, I can smell its rotten breath. All of the sudden I feel the sharp pain of broken glass burying in my feet. I fall onto the glass covered floor and finally a scream escapes my throat.
I then felt a breeze past me and I was knocked away from the group, managing to sit up, I look at what had done it. I saw some creature that had a body of a woman and the lower body of a spider. It freaked me out bad. Noct got in front of me, as if shielding me from that creature, he asked me if I could get up, replying to him, he nodded his head and told me to go to where Prompto was at. Getting to my feet, I ran over to where Prompto was.
It was a cool November day, in the middle of Afghanistan. As a medic, I was sitting outside my make shift aid station with one of my buddies sharing stories about home. We hear a loud explosion right outside of the wire. I looked up and could see the cloud of smoke billowing up from about two hundred meters away. Not knowing how bad the situation was, I grabbed a few of my soldiers, our translator and my aid bag and ran straight to the smoke. When we got there, a group of civilians were huddled around a group of people who were yelling, screaming and crying. The translator found out that a group of three men and three children were walking around a field when one of the children stepped on a mine. One of my soldiers grabbed the mine
What made the crowded living space even less appealing is that for the last couple of months I have been seeing one of the other slaves Abel. He lived outside with the other males and I only got to see him a couple days a week because our paths rarely crossed. The only other person who knew besides us was my friend Afia. When I first told her she was skeptical because she feared that we would both get in trouble and face hard repercussions. As time went on she supported it because one day she would like to settle down and have a family outside of this house.
Witchcraft seemed to be no stranger to this whole ordeal. I take a few deep breaths and continue to trudge back to the carriage. I hope that the Ruler and witch are back as I wish to have my belongings, but it is possible they are still traveling. I see that the carriage is indeed there, not moving from it spot. So I infer that they have arrived so it’s safe to get my things. I let out a sigh of relief and get my small bags out and head to the mansion where- at the steps- I see the others gathering and talking among themselves- Owen being an exception, only talking with Alice a few times. As I get closer I hear Alex mumble something along the line of ‘Manners’ and ‘Peasants’ I try to make out what else he said but he spoke too softly. “Talking about me?” I say as I walked up and brush my arm against his, a bright and stupid smile sprawled across my face. He looks at me, not wearing the same big smile I haven’t seen him missing so far. He didn’t seem to understand what I was talking about, but it soon dawned on him. “Oh sorry, I'm just not used to it. That's all.” He said with a sickening sweet tone as he then quickly turns around, muttering a few curses. I giggle at this and make my way over to Owen.
The demon bodyguard goes to hit me again, but Stonewood raises his hand, stopping him. His darken eyes are narrowed in on me, trying to read my expression. “You have a big mouth on you, human,” he growls, coolly. “But you also have an uncanny ability to inspire people to follow you, like Brielle and the rebel boy. Even Miss Blood and I were impressed with you, before finding out who you really were. I’m not surprised Brielle followed you. That girl is easily manipulated and needs
"Google magic? It wont work at best and if you're really lucky you could have killed all of us. I get that you're new at this whole magic thing and I'm no expert either but you could ask about me about."
