The Titanic‘s construction began on March 31, 1909. On May 31, 1911, the ginormous ship has sailed. As on the night of April 14, 11:40 PM, lookouts spotted a large iceberg dead ahead. As the ship and the iceberg move towards each other, BOOM! The Titanic and the iceberg crashed like two middle schoolers in a hallway bumping into each other. A big total of 1,517 men, women, and children died along with the Titanic. Most killed themselves after the Titanic’s sinkage, and a total of 328 bodies were found. But who was to blame of the sinkage?

The Titanic tragedy was not a very happy event, but I am here to share my opinion on the causes of the sinking of it.

You’ve heard of the Titanic’s sinking, right? Well, do you know who is exactly is responsible though? The captain of the R.M.S. Titanic is to blame, which was Captain Edward J. Smith and he was a popular leader. He had a total of 38 years of working with the White Star Line, the company that owned the Titanic. Captain Smith should have had full control of the ship and obviously, that night, he did not. Therefore, Captain Smith is the the person to blame for the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic because he cancelled a lifeboat drill on the Titanic, he allowed lifeboats to leave partially full and not at the correct time, and lastly, he ignored seven different iceberg warnings.

Well, many people have different opinions on who sank the Titanic and you don’t want to blame it on someone who didn’t do it. Why should you care? The Titanic was a ship that sunk during its maiden voyage in 1912. This big ship was on it’s way to New York when it struck an iceberg. It was believed to be “unsinkable” but that night it met it’s fate and sunk killing many passengers. As the story goes they say it’s the icebergs fault for the sinking of the ship. When in reality, the White Star Line was truly at fault for the sinking of the Titanic. They are responsible for this tragedy because they went full speed after ignoring six ice warnings. Not only that but they should've thought of the consequences when they decided to take off lifeboats for more room for luxury items. Then they weren’t prepared and never had any drills or safety procedures for if the ship were to sink.

One of the greatest news headlines of all times was actually never supposed to happen. The shocking news of the sunken ocean liner the Titanic shocked millions. The sinking itself probably wouldn’t have even mattered except that the builders themselves said that the ship simply could not sink. The news not only hit the United States, but countries everywhere were saddened to hear the news of “The Unsinkable” and its grave end.

On April 10th, 1912 the RMS Titanic set out on it’s maiden voyage across the Atlantic ocean. But tragedy fell upon the glorious ship when the titanic struck an iceberg and sank, or so people think it was the actual Titanic. Today conspiracies have arisen as to whether the Titanic was the actual Titanic or it was the Titanic’s sister ship the RMS Olympic. The movie Titanic, based on personal stories from the ship’s passengers, expresses the importance of safety precautions and the division of class as well as spreading awareness of the issue. The ship set sail in April of 1912 from Southampton in United Kingdom to New York City. When it sank, about 1,500 people died. Though the main characters in the movie were fictional, there were five characters that were based off of real people who were on the ship. It is important to us because the Titanic would still be here today if He looked for the iceberg. Many people are dead today because of His actions. The saying “the titanic is unsinkable” was false. Fred Fleet is responsible the sinking the titanic because he didn’t say anything to anyone, he didn’t do his job, he ignored the captain which is illustrated in how many people survived and how many people who could of survived but didn’t.

The Titanic was the biggest ship built in the 1900s. The Titanic is very important to us because it helps us remember the people who went down with their ship. Back then the Titanic was just not a ship that people went on it was a Royal Mail Ship. The Titanic is very important because people are still arguing about who is responsible for the sinking of the Titanic. I believe J. Bruce Ismay is responsible for the sinking of the Titanic because he was more powerful than Captain Smith.

Remember when the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank? Well maybe it was not the icebergs fault. The Titanic sank on April 14th, 1912. J. Bruce Ismay was the English businessman who served as a Managing Director of the White Star Line of steamship. He traveled and survived the maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic. Some remember Bruce as a coward that should have went down with the ship like the other heroes did and others see him merely as a scapegoat who had some rather influential enemies. Bruce got rescued in Collapsible Lifeboat C. J. Bruce Ismay is mostly at fault for the 1,500 lives lost when the Titanic sank. He is mostly at fault because he took a spot on a lifeboat knowing women and children were still on the ship and that they go first,

To sum up, the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic was remarkably avoidable. John Wesley Woodward can be considered a hero to the other passengers, survivors and victims alike, and he gave his all to give them hope. Woodward should not have had to lose his life. Not a single person should have died. If there had been better communication and discipline between the ships involved, the Titanic might not have sunk, and Woodward might not have

From the disaster to the movie, the sinking of the Titanic remains one of the most famous tragedies in history.
