What would that career be? Why are you interested in it? If I had the ability to not worry about how much I bring home a week, and the ability to have any job in the world knowing my kids would get fed and they could get what they desire, I would be a teacher. Teaching isn’t a bad job but I want more of a safe guard when it comes to money and my job. I don’t know how much longer they plan to keep teachers around with technology growing. However I have always wanted to teach because of three major reasons. First would be that I would want to help our younger kids grow to be smarter than myself and my generation. Secondly I would like to help the students build their community, inside the classroom and outside in the real world. Lastly I also want to be involved in school sports. It would be a time consuming life however I believe it’s worth the time and effort. …show more content…
One of these big things is unleashing the ultimate weapon, the community. Students are great for a few things, manual labor, complaining, and being smart when they want to be. I want to bring these three things together to make a project that would not only help the hungry but also would help the students learn how they can help people in the community and world. This project of mine would be making a school garden in which we would make meals and deliver those meals to the hungry. By doing this they learn how to do stuff as a community. This is essential in life because not one person can succeed in life while others fall. It doesn’t matter what the goal is, someone is always being used to help in some way or form. Not only does it help build the community as a class or club, but it helps feed the hungry who can’t be as

When asked why I want to be a graduate school teacher’s assistant (TA), my honest answer is the financial benefits. Being an out of state applicant, the financial responsibility is significantly higher. The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee is my dream graduate school. The clinical opportunities, unique elective offerings, and welcoming staff are only a few reasons why I am so drawn to this program. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have worked tirelessly to get to where I am today with selecting a graduate school. After working so faithfully for the past 4 years, I do not want to let financial liability stand in my way of committing to my desired school. Being a TA will provide me with the financial backing needed to make my aspirations a reality.

The students would be able to think, write, and discuss on how they felt and what they did to contribute to the success of a community-based project. Students will hopefully understand how education reaches far beyond the classroom and will be able to hopefully one day become a life-long volunteer for their own
