Why I Shouldn T Have Homework Research

Homework should be banned from all schools across America. Homework stresses kids out and leaves them frustrated. It decreases the amount of time being spent with family. It lessens their time of being active. Homework is supposed to help kids, but most of the time it is hurting them. Less than 1% of students say that homework is not a stressor which leaves more than 99% of students being stressed out about their homework.

All schools in the United States should make homework optional. In today's education system every student is required to go to school from ages starting from 5 up until he/she is 17 or 18. We teach all of our students that there is no way around hard work and if you want to make a living you must do what your told, and that is going to school, getting good grades, and potentially going to college and finding a job. This is unquestionable, whether a student agrees with it or not this will never change, but this is not the disputed point.

The first reasons why we should get rid of homework in schools is children are overtired. This reason is important because being too tired is very bad. Children need at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep to get a proper education and children sometimes stay up to or past one o'clock from

I still believe that students should not be given homework on a nightly basis. Students should not be given homework on a nightly basis because it’s stressful.

Homework limits sleep, social life, and causes loads of stress. There’s no time for kids to spend with their family and friends, or do the things they love. Children need to be able to live a carefree life; enjoying all the time they have left just to be kids. Middle school students should not get homework.

Why would we get rid of homework when homework has decades of research supporting its effective use? Many people say that homework should be banned in schools. On the other hand most people value homework as I do. I think homework should stay in schools because homework shows higher achievement, teaches responsibility and, creates time for parents to bond with their kids.

Most kids want to ban homework but they do not know the consequences of not having homework. Homework can help kids be more responsible with due dates. When a student grows up they should know that there is trouble if they do not finish something by its due date. When a student gets a job they should know that there is a time limit to finish an assignment. Plus, if we ban homework there is more time to do boring chores. Personally I think it is easier to do a small assignment than to do the dishes or fold the laundry. Another con is without homework is when kids finish the hour they will forget what they learned. If students don’t remember what they did, they would not do good on tests or quizzes. These are some of the reasons I think homework

Kids should get less homework, because it has very little benefits and is a waste of time. Homework is not necessary for several following reasons. First off homework limits family time for the students. Students do better in school without homework. Homework has hardly any effect or benefits on young students.

Although adults and kids may say homework is good for kids it is argued that it can be bad. I have piles and piles of homework sitting on my desk at home. We are getting too much homework and we should get less of it. We should have less homework because kids aren’t being active enough which keeps them healthy, having too much stress while doing your homework, and not spending enough time with your family. Kids normally have other things to do when they get home and not just homework. All of the stress homework creates can make homework take longer which means kids could be staying up later than they should be. Kids also love spending time with their families. Homework has negative health effects and only wastes the students time when they could be doing more important things. Most of the time it doesn't even improve academic achievement at all. Students should have homework. Some people may argue that students should have homework because it helps students get better on the concept in the class. I understand why they say that because the teachers want the students to get better in school and in class. I strongly believe that homework is extremely bad for children. Simply put children need exercise and sun to stay healthy, children don’t need homework to be successful and most importantly kid are already exhausted after school.

Kids should not have homework sometimes so that they can have free time and enjoy being kidd. I believe that teachers should realize that students go to school for about 7 hours or more. There are kids that have to stay after school to make up work and tests. Kids should live their life happy not stressing out because they have too much homework. Students akso stress out because they did not finish their homework in time .Stress is a common sign that can lead to sickness and a feeling overwhelmness.
