Andrew Macphail (1864–1938)

Macphail, Sir Andrew. A Canadian physician, editor, and essayist; born at Orwell, PE, Nov. 24, 1864; died in 1938. He is the author of ‘Essays in Puritanism’ (1905); ‘Essays in Politics’ (1909); ‘Essays in Fallacy’ (1910); and an historical romance, ‘The Vine of Sibmah’ (1906).
