Frank Hamilton Cushing (1857–1900)

Cushing, Frank Hamilton. An American ethnologist and author; born in Northeast, PA, July 22, 1857; died at Washington, DC, April 10, 1900. He lived among the Zuñi Indians from 1878–81. He wrote: ‘My Adventures in Zuñi’; ‘Mental Concepts: or Hand-Made Mind’; ‘The Myths of Creation’; ‘The Arrow.’
